Hi Winnie, hope you and your family are doing well! I made the shrimp and crab toast last night, was so delicious! One change,buttered bread on both sides then toasted 350’ -7 minutes instead of adding to mixture😊 the added mixture and placed in oven again. Thank you for a great recipe! 💕💃🏻

I agree to toast the bread first so it is firm for the spread and to use cooked shrimp instead of raw.

Oh yes! If you have real crab, you definitely can substitute crab 🦀 with imitation crab. Cooking time should be the same as sea food does not take too long to cook. Enjoy! 💕

Salute the shrimp for a few minutes if you don't think it will cook enough in the oven. That's a no brainer. Looks too good to give up easily.

Nothing made with imitation crab meat can be good. It's made from surimi, a paste made out of finely shredded or pulverized fish. After the fish is minced, it is heated and pressed into shapes that resemble meat from a crab leg

Believe it or not it’s up to you, I cleaned the shrimp before I used. Anyhow, the point is I am sharing a delicious recipe that many people love. You have a choice not to make it if you don’t like it.

What does it matter whether they are jumbo shrimp? You're cutting it up. Small shrimp are less expensive. Jumbo for presentation but geezz these are chopped. A pound of shrimp is a pound. Maybe you have to take more time peeling smaller shrimp. Save your money I Use smaller shrimp

You can substitute with real crab. It’s called imitation crab but it’s actually made with purée fish. It’s an option for people that can’t find seafood year round. Thanks for watching my video💕!

Every oven’s cooking time may be different. If 20 minutes and the shrimp is still not fully cooked, you can keep it there until it’s fully cooked.

Shrimp doesn’t take that long .you cook shrimp on top of the stove just takes five minutes .

Shrimp cook in a matter of a couple minutes..especiallyif chopped....you don't cook them until they are rubber...

@@WeekendMeals8 What other imitation foods do you eat and/or recommend to others? Olive oil? Scallops? Maple syrup? Imitation cheese perhaps? Synthetic honey? Do you use imitation vanilla? Do you fry all your food in knock-off vegetable oil to save money? You're correct; many ingredients are "out there," and some we like and don't like. Where I draw the line is fake food products, many of which, like fake crab, aren't just horrible; they're bad for you. I just don't hate that many people, *_or pets_* for that matter.

No! Fake crab is nasty. Who eats that slop?
