Begging isn't going to get you anywhere. He's said his mind is made up. Said he'll still do a few videos. But just accept it. Find a show you like to move to when this shoe ends. There's a couple out there that are good.

I’m hoping/guessing that once he does retire, he’ll soon realise that he can’t fully retire and will slowly get back to daily videos (like how he says he doesn’t think Tarantino will retire when he says he will)

No doubt in my mind that Shrek 5 will break 1 billion if it's good.

Denzel's NY accent in Gladiator might seem off, but why should people from a Europe of 2000 years ago have the usual English accent? His accent is just as valid or non-valid as any other modern day accent. Folks in ancient Rome didn't speak like us. Any accent you use, be it Northern English, Southern English, French, Syrian, Italian, or even New York American, is historically wrong. It's just become expected that in all fantasy and ancient history based shows, that everyone has to be British or vaguely European. To misquote a recent TV show, with actors talking about casting a fictitious US fantasy show: "The producers want any c*** with an British accent and an equity card".

This Star Wars film won’t happen. The giveaway is that they looked at who’s hot right now and hired them. Just like Benioff and Weiss, Patty Jenkins, Taika, Colin Trevarrow, etc. their only plan is to look at who has a hot project, hire them, and as soon as a pinch of controversy comes out they throw them under the bus.

I’ll take another Shrek film, but what I really want is Madagascar 4. That’s the vitamin M I’m missing 😂

If Shek 5 is a monster hit, then I fully expect an Austin Power 4 to be made. The time is now baby. It can't be expensive to make, people love comedy. We are getting some throw back comedy films in The Naked Gun reboot & Space Balls 2. Let's get grooovey, yeah baby!

GoT final season had tons of problems. Daenerys breaking bad was not one of them. Like john said, it's still a natural progression of her character.

I think episode 4 was the one that made me realise the show was hopeless. I gave it the benefit of the doubt for 2 eps, then the flashback ep was like a pause, but ep 4 was the one I was really going to see what the show was about. And when that was more of the same bad acting/dialogue/storytelling it was clear to me this was a very bad show, and not just being hated on by haters

I know they’ve put a lot of time into the pre Quals and adding context.. but they need to start over

Referencing to your assigned seating comment... When I was on my summer vacation in Seoul, South Korea in 1995 (I just graduated from UCONN in Storrs, CT). I went to watch Die Hard 3 at a local theater that could hold 200 seats. The audience of the second showing would leave while the audience for the third showing would enter the theater simultaneously!?! Absolute mad house! In theory, if someone wanted to watch back-to-back showings all he or she had to do is just stay in their seats between showings. In other words, the theater management didn't clear out the theater before the next group of movie goers come in. Chaos + Lunacy! BTW Korea now (2024) has one of the best movie reservation system. I already booked my IMAX tickets to Dead Pool 3 that premieres in Seoul on July 24th. 😊

I have a small theatre in my area. You can buy tickets online but it's not assigned seating

I feel like acolyte was good. I don't foresee the finale wrapping up the series in a fulfilling way. Much like Ashoka couldn't. Much like the most interesting thing about Ashoka was Baylon Skulls story, which they really hinted at instead of it being an actual plot. They're likely going to do the same thing with Acolyte and leave you not even wanting more. 40 minutes is not enough time to wrap up Mae//Osha/do whatever they're doing with the Green Master Lady Venestra/or Sol or most importantly The Stranger Sith... The only sith in the show that was supposed to be about sith

It baffles me we still have people who say "it came out of nowhere" when it comes to GOTs ending. They spent seasons telling us she was willing to go mad. They didn't hide it. Its okay to not like how everything went down. But to say it comes out of nowhere is absurdity. I have no doubt that Levy will do this Star Wars film. I dont think this is like the others. They know they have something special with DeadpoolxWolverine. And they have confidence in him. I grew up in southern Minnesota. Right along the Iowa border. Still in Tornado Alley. 15 years there. From 2 till 16. And tornado films hit differently for me. It seemed like every other day during the summers I was in the basement not sure if a house would exist when we came up. Thankfully, it always stood. Just, not all of it a lot of times. And yeah, I'll probably skip this one. Ha. But hope it does well.

I don't understand John's point on Dany going bad. Most people expected it, same with the book. It's the way it happened. It was so quick. It needed more fleshing out in the last few seasons. And the way it was written with the bells and missandei etc was poorly written. Could have been great

Agreed , we all knew she’d follow in her fathers footsteps eventually. It was just insanely rushed at the end it wasn’t warranted. Not to mention all the other characters who had a disappointing end to their character arcs.

Maybe..Turning Red 2?? I mean I would love to go back to that world.

What do you mean?? There are only "fun and mindless" blockbusters. Blockbusters that take themselves seriously (e.g. Dune, A Quiet Place) are a rarity. It's only Comic book movies or Fast & Furious or Godzilla x Kong. I'm glad and thankful that there is at least one darker movie every now and then. And "depressing" isn't necessarily bad
