While not as good as shrek 2, I still think this movie is “at times” hilarious

Shrek 3 is still making me laugh. King Harold's funeral made me cry, Donkey and Puss switching bodies was hilarious and the princesses got some mad skills. The memes were so funny 😭😭😭🔥🔥🔥🤣🤣🤣

I love Shrek's character progression in this movie. From being fearful of becoming a parent to fully embracing it and welcoming the ogre triplets.

Yeah I think that's why the movie is a let down because the focus should've been more so on Shrek being scared about being a father than trying to fight Prince Charming and find a replacement king

I understand the problems with this film. The two main ones are the humor and the villain. With the Fairy Godmother out of the picture, Charming doesn’t feel as threatening of an antagonist. With that being said, I still enjoy the movie despite it being inferior to the two before it

Shrek 3 is considered one of the worst of the Sequels I never really understood why as a kid

This is the strongest and funniest one for me, I don’t know what others are on 😂

Definitely the weakest of the Shrek movies, but it does have some favorite part is when Shrek and Arthur have that talk about excepting yourself by the fire. That, and the princess's badass break in sequence. Especially Snow White's part.

I begin to like 3 more the older I got. When I first watch this movie as a middle school kid. I wasn't that into it compared to 1 and 2. Watching it now as I'm older. I like it more and more. Part 2 is my favorite out of the franchise though.

This is my favorite Shrek Movie. It made me laugh the most, I love the Arthur as king story and I love how all the princesses and characters come together again to fight charming. Seeing the fairytale villains come together was cool and it was the start of Shreks children. This was also my first shrek movie but I loved seeing it and it made me want to go back and watch more. Shrek the third is the best Shrek Movie and my favorite.

Shrek the third isn’t bad but it doesn’t feel like a proper sequel film, rather an hour long tv special. It doesn’t take it too seriously compared to the other Shrek movies before.

Honestly, as Much as I enjoyed the 3rd, it did feel like a conclusion/extension of shrek 2 rather than being it's own movie with new plot. Dlc basically lol

everyone says the third is the weakest and I used to agree, but after watching it over again, I'm not sure I agree as first of all, I laughed more in this movie than in the previous two films, and the story of Shrek scrambling to find a new heir is a perfect plot as it ends with Shrek's happily ever after. the fact that Charming enacted his plan perfectly only for his subjects to laugh at him calls back to Farquaadd and how even if you can get the power you want, it doesn't mean you are the one who truly earns it. If Charming's plan succeeded and he killed Shrek, he would see his job as being done and he would be a terrible leader by doing nothing. Artie's choice to go back, knowing if his plan of talking to the fairytale creatures fails he would certainly be killed by charming, shows his developing leadership as he is willing to put his life at risk for his kingdom. This shows Shrek, who severely doubted arties physique the entire movie, can finally go home in peace, knowing that Fiona's worries for her family's kingdom are solved.

Cant wait until shrek forever after

In my opinion shrek and Shrek 2 are the best ones

This is a hill I will die on; I think this movie is just as good as most the others and I will never understand why people say it's terrible I will say however that compared to Shrek 2 it isn't that great but I'd definitely say it's a more enjoyable ride than the first Also, I freaking love Merlin, he is just, the greatest and I would gladly eat some of his Organic, Rock-O Granite 😁

I wouldn't say skip it, it's better than most people make it out to be, but it's just sorta the way that Dreamworks does things, not intentionally, just the trend. First movie is great set up, second movie is the best, and third movie is pretty good but not super essential, just a closing to the trilogies. and the 4th comes out way later and messes some things up with retcons. It's the trend all the movies go through, lol.

It's sort of a 'starts with best, then just slides down a hill' method of movie making, like Jurassic Park, instead just the third movie bumping up just a wee bit above the second movie, then back down the hill, lol.

It may not be as good as the others But I like it it’s good enough I have fun with this movie and it feels like shrek

Shrek 3 is actually a good movie, the only issues I get is it can get pretty awkward such as with Artie and Nightmare Donkey even though ND was a manifestation in a nightmare but still arent really bad or make the movie bad or atleast the worst, I actually welcomed and welcome Shrek's kids and want to see them develop in Shrek 5, it even makes sense Puss has a kid with things we have foreshadowing that and having someone carry his legacy.

King fu panda 4 come out next month too lol

While Shrek the Third is the weakest film in the franchise, there are still some (keyword: some) moments that are pretty good and humorous. And fyi, your reaction to it makes it more entertaining.

My issue with this movie is that the two halves are VERY disconnected. Fiona doesn't react much to her father's death nor her cousin taking the throne. She is completely wrapped up in her own pregnancy. In fact, her entire situation just feels like an entirely separate movie. Also, they changed Rumplestilskin's appearance for the fourth movie for whatever reason...
