SHREDDING & MELTING 1615 Aluminium CANS!
Ғылым және технология
In this video i'm shredding and melting 1615 empty soda cans to see how much aluminum you can get from them.
This is only an experiment.
I do not recommend this to do yourself because the cost of melting the cans would outweigh the profit.

At first I kind of wondered why you'd run the bits through the shredder that many times... But then I thought about how if you have a tactical light assault vehicle-mounted shredding machine, why *wouldn't* you use it as much as you can? :D Loved this one, thanks for taking the time to make it!

One funny thing is all the transfers, not even counting the cans' unknown life before the video. Ride in the motorized transport. Go into another plastic container. Take a trip through Nightmare on Shred Street. Land in another container. Get poured into another barrel container. Get poured into another plastic container. And that's not even the best part which is yet to come, lololol ! My, the many things that the eyes of those aluminum pieces must have witnessed and experienced :)

He started with a 161.50 worth of recyclable cans. Financed a 5000.00 shredder. A 600.00 melting furnace. 8 hours of labor. And now you have a 20.00 brick of aluminum. Great video.
Cool video. Very relaxing. However, running that smelter inches from the firewood and in close proximity to a structure?
next to the firewood. perfect!
Wouldn't this increase the surface area, allowing for more oxidation and a decreased output though?

Hello, i have one question to your shredder. Do you make it your self? Or buy it or some parts only?
Dear Presstube, what do you call that shredding machine and where can I get one? Many thanks in advance.
so satisfying seeing cans getting shredded
That was just FUN!!! Where did you get that shredder!!?
That shredder tank is cool as hell
Hi there, why is there so much slag from aluminum cans I thought they were super recyclable? Also isn’t they plastic liner inside each can or maybe only in the USA?
I’ve no idea why I’m watching this. But I like it😍
Shredding the can is so satisfying
Great job
This was oddly satisfying, but what did you use them for?
What is the name of that shredder and where did you get that
Ben, you are gonna set your wood pile on fire!😂
I'm jealous I wish I had all those cans . Wow all that alluminum. So many projects I can do.
Just out of curiosity what does the ice do is it for our entertainment witch is cool but does it do anything else besides cool the aluminum down
Awsome stripen up your cans. Maybe one day I can match your collection, onwards & upwards 👍
I love the sound of aluminum cans and chips 😭
So when he scoops out the slag, what is slag really made out of? Is the aluminum made for cans some type of alloy, or is the slag the paint comming off of the cans?
Man oh, man this guy is amazing, one thing after the other. First he has a shredder that has tank wheels, then He shreds 1615 cans 10 times over, and then he has an over size crucible and an over size furnace, and then he has two loud geese, and then he has a huge scraper,
Much more compact. Now it's off to the recycling plant who will melt it into rolls from which more cans can be made.
First time here, so can you sell that for a profit or is it just for recycling and a hobby? 😊
Shredding the slag was brilliant :)
