I also really like watching these kinds of videos! I have bought art supplies I haven’t used. Oil pastels, a small set at least. It’s so cool you are selling your original art pieces now! Aww man… I’ve seen a few channels make a video on making art with highlighters, but I’ve never felt confident enough to try. Aww man, it’s unfortunate you couldn’t sculpt with the kneaded erasers. I have one I use for art. I didn’t know they came in colours other than grey! Ooh, an old Gameboy Color! I think it would be cool to see you paint it! If you use a lot of copy paper to draw on, how do you usually store it when you’re done? Ooh, that looks like a nice set of acrylic paints! I remember the video of you using those cheap markers! Good advice on not buying the expensive versions of an art supply when you want to try a supply 😅 Same with trying to use a supply for a little while so you can try get better first. Ooh, that’s a cute Bulbasaur! I’ll probably have to research it a little bit, but I never understood how to use watercolour pencils very well. Those are some cute sketches! Ooh, I have never used an on-screen tablet before. So I still use he kind you plug into your computer for digital art. Thanks for the interesting video! Hope you had fun making it

*I feel your pain.* I pared down my art supplies big time during the pandemic since I'm primarily doing digital with some traditional. I love traditional but digital is so convenient and cheaper. I got rid of all my oil paints and dried up markers. I only kept my watercolors (limited palette of warm/cold primaries + convenience colors like ochres and dioxazine purple) , colored pencils, and some markers for colors. I did keep all of my pencils though I primarily use a 2B 0.5mm mechanical pencil (Kurutoga and Pentel) for sketching and a 2mm clutch pencil with various lead grades for shading. I kept all of my inking supplies since they take up so little space: (G-pen nibs, Maru nibs, Hunt Calligraphy nibs, Pentel brush pens of various sorts, and permanent Sumi ink).

Doing a little clean-out is definitely a good idea, I also got rid of some things yesterday. The taking up so much space part is definitely the biggest disadvantage over digital art

I also want to say I really like your videos, they are very heartwarming!

@@modauth I have that problem too. When I have free time from school activities, I bring out a random number generator to choose a random set of supplies and draw with them. If you like, you can try that when you want to try using your art supplies when you want to draw for fun. :)

7:40 these little things with paint are called "half-pans". There are also "full pans", twice bigger.

The last time I properly used art supplies was like 4 months ago unless you count just a pencil and I have quite a lot of art supplies. KZread was probably the start of my art supply addiction and the first thing I got was promarkers after seeing them in a drawing tutorial like 7 years ago. I still love most of my art supplies though, even if I do barely use them at the moment.

@@modauth Well I was about 11 then, but I’ve basically been drawing my whole life. Although I’ve gone long times without drawing at all so that’s probably why I don’t improve much.
