What a happy joyful birdie 💗

He's such a happy Caique. Loves being in the shower. Makes his day. "Thank you for the special stand", the Caique says, I love it, so I can be comfortable in the shower and sing as many happy songs I want.

Yea this is really a happy caique is so nice to see it so happy in the shower. ❤

I have been playing this over and over for my caique. He loves it. Sometimes he whistles along, but more often he just makes happy purring noises and gets really relaxed, snuggles up to me and closes his eyes.

Is it true that Caiques can turn on the owner and are harder to manage when they reach maturity after 3 to 4 years old? Let me know? I’m having second thoughts of getting one because most of the people at the pet stores are telling me this

Any bird can turn on their owner(s). Mainly, caiques can suddenly get "moody" one moment then be just fine another (even more extreme than other birds). Give them space when they do this. My best advice is to spend time with surrendered/rescued birds at an actual parrot store (not a big box chain store---I feel so sad for birdies at places like those), and make several visits and see if any birdies bond with you. Or maybe a birdie will actually pick *you* (I've seen it happen ❤)

Caiques love water, I let mine run on the grass with the sprinklers on, he's been doing it for 20 years and it never gets old.

That is the most beautiful sounding Caique I've ever heard! Our Caique makes lovely whistling tunes and we adore every song she sings for us, but wow, your bird is on a different level! He sounds like a tropical forest! Thank you so much for sharing! Tomorrow we'll play Teddy for Pumpkin in the shower! :)

Harry Haring my conure will only bath in his washing up bowl in the sink. No singing but a lot of splashing likes the warmer up to the bottom of his wings, he wallows
