Even now it feels like she is still alive. She was and still is that dynamic.
I was right in the middle of watching this & laughing . Then out of nowhere it hit me that's she's gone :( Miss you so much Joan ! God I pray she is in heaven with all the greats !!! :)
I'm so glad for the internet that allows to still glimpse at Joan. Forever missed.
Looking back at these comments and there’s so much love. A true testament to theater people and the community we share, which Joan truly was so much a part of. We understood her, and will cherish her always.
5:55 'I think Anne Hathaway was at home saying I'm wonderful. She must have the driest lips from kissing her own ass' LOL
Two dear hearts with love and respect for each other. This was such a pleasure.
This is one of the best interviews of Joan Rivers I've ever seen. I understand that she's a very generous person ... with her family and her staff members, which are like family. Best wishes to a wonderful performer.
Ugh , what an interview . Joan , I miss you .
R.I.P. sweet Joan
thanks utube to give us joan rivers once again after she has left us
I love and miss her so much!
The Barbara Streisand comment that she kissed her and she moved her nose killed me.
I love Paul and Joan! This is perfection!
I miss her so much! xx
Joan was the best! I got to see her in Portland, Maine on tour and nobody could touch her. I laughed for 90 minutes straight.
This is just a wonderful interview. Funny, witty, heartfelt and sincere. Just a fun great interaction to watch. My dear sweet wonderful Joan, you are so so missed. You are no semi legend - you, my dear, are legend.
Loved this interview. She's a real mensch. I would love to sit down and have coffee and cake with her.
👑 Gone,but never forgotten. ☆ Thanx for the laughs,Joan! 😄
I'm so glad they talked about theatre etiquette concerning wardrobe. I just got home from my NYC trip yesterday, and I got to see three amazing shows. I was absolutely horrified to see people at the Majestic for The Phantom of the Opera in jeans and t-shirts with uncombed hair. It was just appalling, and I really think they should think about establishing some kind of dress code. This is a really interesting interview.

Shannon, I just turned 26 in May and for my birthday, I spent 2 weeks in NYC to see as many Broadway shows as I could! Since this was my first time seeing a Broadway show (and with being involved in theatre almost my whole life) I just knew that the dress code was nothing less than formal wear… I was wrong. So many people in casual street wear! I also believe that there should be a standard!

Remember when people used to dress up for planes?? Now they show up in sweats 😒😒
adorable people, rip darling!
There will never be another one like her! A dynamo in every respect.
Miss her soooooo much!!!!!
I miss her every day.
I can so relate to her when she says that stepping on a stage makes her feel like "yes this is where I belong". That is how I feel when I step on a TV set. God knows I will make it one day.

oooooof I love her
Boy, how I wish this lady was still around.
I miss her so much ... life is not the same without her. She died unnecessarily .. her daughter won the case, and she donated the entire amount she won. That is class.

❤She was fantastic lady❤Smart, Intelligent, beautiful classy lady❤the one and only❤ I miss her deeply❤love from Finland
Fabulous as ever
Love this fun interview; thanks for posting! Joan
What’s casual? Fur!! 😂😂😂
joan is so right in essence about the pretentiousness and insecurity of women calling themselves actors and not actresses
I can't believe she's almost 80! A true legend.
that was a fun interview
if i could visit one person in heaven (or hell) it would be you joan. love you loads
Joan we miss you.
Paul was way ahead of the pack with the vertical hair.
Paul, you brought back so many memories. I will never forget Joan River's album 'What Becomes of a Semi-Legend Most' when i was a kid. I also listened to that over and over.
so inspirational. miss and loved her so much
Thank you for this video!
If I had the power to bring back just one person...
Omggg Joan Rivers as Madea!
This is a living legend I want to meet
gr8 interview!! love joan + her documentary is really good too :)
This is so wonderful. I love Joan Rivers. Thank you very much for uploading this. :)
she's the best ! love her ! { i'm talking about joan ..}
"walking around . . . . like Adele!" omg fab!
i love that she mentioned Marnie Nixon and Patti Lupone.
RIP We love you
Great interview
I love seeing her in this setting.
I miss her so much. 🥲
Great work Paul.
I also found this to be an AMAZING interview! The point about reviews reminds me of an interview Adam Pascal did a couple years ago in which he said essentially no one really reads them anymore because of social media acting as the voice of the real audience passing on to friends, followers true but honest reactions. A show now lives or dies not because of lofty newspaper critics but because of the public.
This was great.
A legend!
i love you joan!
Iconic central and I'm so happy she loved Larry David he is truly the master of comedy to me
Fashion Police was my guilty pleasure! I miss her terribly!!!
The QUEEN of standup!
Brilliant interview! Joan we need to do a show together!! Sx
Great stories. No matter if You lover her or hate her. She has great stories. You get todays "stars" on talk show..they have nothing tosay. That is why the guests come on and leave after they promote ther latest ventures. Back in the day guests would stay out with the other guests and interact.

RIP 🌈 Precious Joan❣️
JOAN IS THE GREATEST!
i'm 21 and i wish i could've been friends with her.
#JoanRiversForever 💘
19:44 LMFAO
This is in reference to the theatre. Americans did used to dress up for the theatre. Also going on an airplane was something that people used to dress up for but now everyone's in sweat pants and flip flops. It's interesting how the culture changes.
Sarah Jessica Parker and Joan rivers were on the same show a year ago. Graham norton and they really click
She's so right about the fine line between hooker and fabulous, I shop in all the hooker clothing stores in the city I live in
I fully believe casual Joan is fur. I love her. My hero
I loved this interview. The host and JR have a great rapport, and maybe it's because there's no live audience, but I found Joan to be more natural and less 'performing' than she normally was on a talk show and audience. I really felt that I was getting a feel for what she was like as a person. As much as I enjoyed her work, she could be a little exhausting when playing to the rafters during an interview. And WHAT was that jacket she was wearing?
@aarondigby9859

Her taste for fashion was kind of eccentric but she made it work for her, that was one of her comedy niches, like Rodney Dangerfield with the red tie, Phyllis Diller the outrageous outfits, Mom's Mabley the funny looking hat, it's a gag, helps with routine.
10:20 LMAO. I always find it hard to believe how different Joan and Melissa are from each other in terms of their sense of humor.
For reasons best known to herself, each cosmetic surgery left her resembling Miss Piggy a bit more closely. Toward the end, instead of laughing, she'd oink with a slight NY accent. This really delighted 'em at The Iowa State Fair. Fly high last mameleh before freeway
I love her jacket. Anyone know who designed it.

whats casual for Joan? FUR... hilarious lol!
joan - you can always adopet me...
what about your interviewer Joan?.....not skinny! And the hair? Fashion Police... where are you. Joan Rivers is so bright... incredible that she wrote the script to Topo Gigio.. I like the host too.. nice man.
"...some of them know where they came from..."
No other show in the world has had better hair present on stage
what is Joan Rivers ? in one sentence ? = " Whats casual Joan ? - .... FUR ". That's all ! I adore this old bitch ! ^^
If Adele is happy with her body as she says she is then there's no problem, no feelings were hurt.

"Adele", like any big, fat slob would, hated her body. Most hogs will only admit this truth after they've managed to drop the excess tonnage.
i love everything about this interview except for the interviewers laugh
nowadays most people call Nicki Minaj and justin bieberthe greatest ever. :( sad fucking reality
lol you should see how rude she was to one of the reporter when she was asked about how she lost the weight...google it.

Oh Joan, I miss her so much. Nobody like her.
.....soooo....WHO IS GOING TO BRING SALLY MARRS BACK?!?
she's actually trying not to be mean to people and says she doesn't want to hurt their feelings I don't know why everyone finds her so mean

Anne Hathaway is such a dull boring actress!!
i like her but im so disappointed over her comments towards adele's figure.

Adele needs to stop stuffing the potatoes in her mouth. She would've made a nice plus size model. I saw Adele hist SNL and she could laugh at everyone else SNL parodied. Adele did fairly well hosting SNL but Kate and Heidi had Adele breaking character.
Gee, what happened to Melissa’s showbiz career now that Joan is gone?
