Series 13 feels like all 5 contestants are there to win it, but only Chris and Sophie understand the game, so the other 3 lunatics provide entertainment well beyond what they intended.

The fact that Alex walked away leaving Sophie handcuffed in the bath was a bit strange. I guess Alex may have gone back after the shot of the production staff helped.

The editing of the show takes the most time. So much footage is cut, and they can steer the episodes to create underdogs that still win a later episode. And that's part of the magic. To make the losers into winners.

This series was the absolute best - the combo of Chris, Judi, Sophie, Ardal and Bridget was just classic. Every episode was a banger!

Bridget and Greg's dynamic is so mint!! She's not at all scared of him, and he's happy to box on with her whenever she wants to kick off 😂

The editor sure gave Chris some help on that one haha, he didn't balance a single thing for more than a second from the looks of it, without the slow-mo and repeated shots from different angles

Chris was balancing items on his chin in childhood, from the look of this. He clearly didn’t need editing to make him look good.

This task does feel like they needed to impress a mayor but the mayor was unavailable

Did Sophie even get the handcuffs off? Pretty sure she was just handcuffed while holding her breath lol

im still curious what bridget wanted to do with the gun

If any series had a sequel, I would choose this one, all 5 contestanst are gold!

I'm still so confused why Alex wasn't using his own hands with the cards for that transition at the beginning because his hands are clearly in his lap. Was it a cardistry hand double and they just cut the actual cardistry? I really want to know.

Ardal choosing chin-balancing after Chris did the same is one of the greatest synchronicities in Taskmaster history Edit: And Ardal getting that score is one of the most generous moments in Taskmaster history

I played along, but couldn't really think of any 'show off'-worthy things I could do or say. Until I thought of 'showing off' negative things. Like how clumsy, weird or stupid I can be. Then I had a loooong list... Might be time for some therapy.

@@phonotical It's just a transition to the task; a lot of them don't 'explain' themselves. Just look at the one where Alex and Greg are playing chess in the garden and then Greg just eats one of the pieces. I've always taken them to be highlighting the weirdness of the Taskmaster 'realm', task-related or not.

Notice every time Chris "balanced" something, they showed it in slow motion?
