    The best demo on how to do a smash, every step of the way, beginning with the finger position, the grip, the footwork .... This is the video I would go back time and time again, until such time the muscle memory is there in the split of a second. Thank you so much, coach Han, and I do appreciate the use of slow motion to get your points across.

    Thank you. Image training is really important. If you remember it with your eyes, you will soon be able to follow it. It is more important to remember with your eyes than to understand with your head.

    Had a bigger difference again. From footwork like I watched in one of your videos, into the smash. When I smash, I noticed that my fingers are too tensed, making the smash have a limited movement, thus having slower smash. Then I watched this videos, just out of curiosity, I noticed that the middle, ring and pinky fingers are loose when preparing the smash, then slightly squeezing when delivering, therefore having a fast and powerful smash. Thanks Coach Hans for the demonstration and tutorial! I am already inspired and motivated doing it because I can already spot the differences on my smash, and the sound of it is also satisfying.

    Coach Han , do we need to keep that space within the palm all the time? I mean not just in smash but in all the other shots in badminton as well?

  • @full-swing

    @full-swing

    9 ай бұрын

    That's a good question. Tutorials for amateurs tell you to leave some space in your palms. However, if you become more advanced, or depending on the situation, you can hold the grip completely. However, there should be no tension in those fingers. The shape doesn't matter as long as it's relaxing. kzread.info/dash/bejne/paaWs4-weaTMhc4.htmlsi=WA3dvLfFEnHlwql4

    Hi Team, this is just incredible cover on smash shot..very helpful. Thank you.i just had one thought, while we are in a game, not every shot we get to relax ,so the hitting angle differs..whats one simple technique to follow, that will angle 90 percent of the time..

  • @full-swing

    @full-swing

    That's a good question. In real badminton, not every shot is perfect. What Coach Han considers most important is ‘distance from the shuttlecock.’ He says that even if you cannot keep other things, you must keep that one.

    Do type of the racket effect the speed of the shuttlecock and easiness when we smash ? for example Head-heavy racket + Medium Flexible is easier to smash and shuttlecock speed faster than the stiff and head-light one And If i would like to practice swing like this, Which type of the racket do you recommend? Anyway Thanks for the great content Your channel is very fantastic

    If you observe the back, it appears to be 12 o'clock or 1 o'clock sharp. But what does it look like from the side? It doesn't really matter whether it's 12 o'clock sharp or 2 o'clock sharp. However, do not raise your shoulders high. I will attach a reference video link. kzread.info/dash/bejne/foGglM2zpJfIhJM.htmlsi=9p_jN8LRickvEz8u

    타점이 밀리면.. 늦게 맞으면 팔꿈치에 진동이 오죠. 근데 이건 누구나 할 수 있는 뻔한 말이죠. 이런 대답을 원한것도 아니시겠고요. 한코치의 생각은 이렇습니다. 운동하다보면 아플 수 있습니다. 자세가 안 좋아서 아픈 경우도 많아요. 그건 사실입니다. 하지만, 여러분은 자세가 좋아도 아플 가능성이 있습니다. 엘리트 선수들만큼 몸이 만들어지지 않은 일반인이 선수들의 규격을 따르니까요. 우리는 자세가 좋아도 다치고, 자세가 안 좋으면 더 다칠 뿐이죠. 부상도 배드민턴의 일부이고, 지혜롭게 받아들일 수 있어야 한다는 겁니다. 잘못쳐서 아픈건지, 잘쳐도 아픈건지.. 명확하게 원인을 잡아내는 건 매우 어렵습니다. 다만, 그것보다 중요한 건 후속 조치일겁니다. 쉬면서 치료받든지, 더 단련해서 이겨내든지. 스스로 결정하고 실행하는 겁니다. 책임은 본인이 지는 겁니다.
