This game is perfectly summed up by the fact there's an adorable character travelling on your ship who is constantly asking for books yet there's no way to give her any of the 1000's of books you find lying around on your travels.

Yep. brought sarah to the second artifact after hearing how exciting it is for her. touch the artifact and everything, hoping to getting a response from sarah but nope. just the standard bog convo list like before. succeded to convince sam's dad by only persuasion, hoping sam will recognize my abilty or praise or say "wow how did you manage to convince my stubborn dad". nope just the standard bog response to carry on the quest. everything just feel half baked.

@@Entropic_Meat_Machine I had nothing but fun playing Skyrim and all of the Fallouts, and Starfield has been a very smooth and enjoyable experience for me at 4K. It's beautiful and runs great all the time on my AMD based hardware. I've never needed mods for any of the Bethesda games to enjoy them, though I added some mods in Skyrim the third time I played it just for fun. I'm not really tempted to add mods for Starfield because I like the way they made it. I don't know why you had so much trouble (assuming you've actually played the game) unless you're trying to play on very weak hardware, which wouldn't work regardless of the company that made it as these games are demanding. I don't have any special reason to favor Bethesda games except that I've honestly enjoyed them very much over the years and appreciate when other people skillfully make things I enjoy in life. I'm not a child trying to impress people by criticizing things I could never make myself. I'm a software developer in a different industry and know what hard work it would take to make those amazing games.

I watched a fascinating video about Nintendo's meticulous design philosophy for Tears of the Kingdom's open world to make sure it was engaging, interesting, and that players wouldn't just run in a straight line. They figured out how to make it so that you would discover things that you were interested in by yourself, but how those discoveries were actually in a planned out graph to move you towards the important story locations. Bethesda on the other hand just spent the last 5 years procedurally generating terrain and saying "Yeah, that looks good enough I guess. Not that I have to worry that anyone's going to see it, because they're going to bee-line towards this one quest." Its amazing that we treat Bethesda with the same kiddie gloves we use on single-developer indie studios, despite how much money and former talent they're sitting on.

What she didn't explain about that fast travel section is that you can level all the powers to level 10. Meaning you have to do all that boring ass temple traveling 240 times. And since they're tied to new game plus, there's no point in doing anything else in between because it gets wiped every 24 temples so you have to do them all in a row.

Well now we need a full version of that "Life on Mars" Cover. Because that was incredible.

I love when Shelby sings. We need an album of all the songs she's done

Damn, using the Outer Wilds soundtrack to wordlessly massacre this game. I mean I'm still having fun with it, but what a brutal yet unspoken comparison.

I'm genuinely in tears... from laughing so hard. Your Bowie cover was simply masterful, 10/10. I had more fun with your 12 minutes of video than with my 100 hours of Starfield, without a doubt.

That's the typical Starfield player. Let me hate on this game for some quick internet clout before I jump back on Starfield for my daily 5 hour play session.

Love how you added the music from a way better space game in the background (Outer Wilds)
