Bajoran rep store has been an amazing resource for ship parts, ore/gas/crystals, and boosting the refinery and efficiencies. Absolutely has changed the time to grind through things.

The Bajor loop has made my daily intake of materials fantastic. 100% one of the best features added in the past year. Takes little effort or focus with great rewards and qol improvements.

Completely agree with every last beautiful detail here, especially the part where I'm hilarious 🤣 thank you for the shout out from the Messiah himself and for clarifying why I'm grinding the brel despite it challenging my rep limite 😂🎉 this'll save me many questions this next week lol

Love the Dadbod bikini cameo 😂 Here’s my ftp strategy: in g4, build 2 uncommons and tier them to t2 (commons only) and t3 (warp component to warp 135). Then get the Pilum where you want it. I made it from ops 39 at Christmas to currently ops “almost 45”, and I already have about 45 Pilum bps from AT store. Once Pilum is at t5 I may get the uncommons to t5 and then move back to the Pilum. Of course, when I get there, my strategy may change. Thanks for the video!

Great video Rev! I just moved to 40 myself so this is really relevant. I actually followed (mostly) your checklist for going to 40s but that's probably old. I am like the highest power lvl 40 on the server lol with max Enterprise and Augur (and mid tier d4 lol). I guess I shouldn't have camped so long and focused on those. But my plan is to get Valdore eventually and then Pillum. I was not able to acquire Jellyfish sadly.

As a 29 player who is really looking forward to solo armadas, I didn't have it in my plans to get the 32 ships when I was ready to go to 35, but now I have to reevaluate how useful they are going to be for me.

I always played like this, with multiple ships, often at least two with same power, but rather more, it is so much easier and faster to go thru all of that grind. I was sitting on 39 for a while and then got quickly to 41 and with T4 Jelly and T9 Aug, D4, Ent, it is not that good, maybe I need some better hostile grinding crews but they don't last long enough and I am really looking forward to Ktinga AND Valdore...

I skipped 42s and 41s and raced from the Jelly to the Pilum. Took about 4 months. I strongly recommend the approach if you are nearing 40. The 42s will drain your parts, lat, and rss and delay your 46 unless you are spending significantly. The Jelly and a maxed Augur were more than enough to get me to 46, and frankly I was done with the Jelly by about 43 or so other than the special events. The other two G3 epics were T5/T6. So I humbly disagree on this one and would never go for a 42 unless you are OK with heavier levels of spending.

Agree 100% Deuce, the 4* economy changed the game. Since 42 (now at 44), I got the Valdore and Ktinga. Important: make sure your rom and klingon rep are going up evenly: at Commended lvl the jump in rep rewards is crazy, making dual grinding with another faction at a lower rep lvl very difficult. Borg research can fix that now, but you'll want to focus on th recource efficiency researches first (and borg refinery for that sweet trit you need to repair those 4* monsters). My own plan is getting valdore to t6 (warp range benefits), ktinga to t5 (mostly solo armadas), then focus most rss on efficiency research and power levelling to lvl49. Once there: camp, enjoy the higher lvl49 payouts to give your research and lvl46 ships some much needed love. And now you can grow to be competitive again in slb's and save up for the time when Scopely opens up the 5* economy...

Got Saladin at T9 at 29 and now working on my Enterprise. Skipped 32s completely. The main issue is that the 32s are way too close to 34s, I didn't want to spend 40k faction credits and/or away credits and/or rare/epic credits on them, and even less I want to spend the materials. We have a few T6 intrepids in our alliance that are still weaker than my T9 Saladin, and both take roughly the same materials (but Saladin takes 20k less credits to get and you can use it during your lvl 29 camp). And idk the only way I could boost my hostile grinding is with higher warp range, which intrepid doesn't really offer until T9 as well. For solo armadas I've got the Defiant (that was a $ purchase though) as a 3rd ship, or the Vi'Dar for Borg solos... Maybe I can see an argument for going for a 3rd ship if you don't buy the defiant? But even then I feel like a second lvl 28 at T9 is better, costing less credits and same materials, and being able to scrap earlier?

One other 'dimension' if you will to think about is the impact of lower deck officers.. Due to these, and solo armadas, I (ops 44) upgraded my Valdore to tier 7, giving 4 ld spots.. Makes a great tank in solos, and with 4 slots, I can put all the LD officers I want without missing out on my stats.. Repairs are expensive, but love being able to easily do all the solos I need to triple-pull everything, every time... Something else to think about :)

I maxed out my G3 epics and did not regret it. I was able to take up to a level 45 dominion epic when other people were struggling to take out the weakest ones. As a result, I got a huge jump on the bajoran faction.

@rexgiraffe8297 this is just for dominion, but I was using a D4, Enterprise, and Augur. Enterprise was Kirk, Zhou (or bev), Lorca. D4 was Riker, Killy, Khan. Auger was Sisko, O'Brien, Georgiou. Riker is useless on Borg Solos as is burning. So Lorca went over to the augur and replaced GG. D4 was 5 6 Khan. Enterprise is Kirk, Zhou or Bev, and Bashir. These are total punch up crews. On the borg armadas you just need to remember these necessities: Hull breach/crit damage, Crits, Mitigation. The fights are also quite short, so a cumulative defense officer (like killy) or cumulative base damage officer is not useful.

The only thing I would add is that they have those new events where it is Battleship vs, Explorer vs, and Interceptor vs. With a Newton and Valdore I find myself having to rely on my D4 in Dominion space to do the interceptor ones. They have really pushed not only multiple ships but that having a decent level of each type of ship in order to complete all the events. I on occasion used my max ent but now with the defiant as my 3rd for solos it doesn't come out much other than to change officers around since it allows for the entire below decks to be switched.

Although I have just maxed my Enterprise and am enjoying it, I agree with the idea next is Kelvin and it will only take it to T5 then work on my next ship.

I have Valdor (T6 only warp), Pilum (T5 early) and now building rep for Klingon for Korinar then finish the 1B triple lock with Newton. Having a strong pve ship of each type will help with the events that specify ship type. I am going to skip the other 2 G4 Uncommons.

I just made it to ops 46 over the weekend and built a Pilum and took to T4. I wouldn't take the Valdore past T4 because the cost of taking to T7 is more than taking a brand new Kori to T4. Now my issue is a 3rd ship with warp range to hit >50 Borg solos where you need warp 180ish. I plan on building a Kori next after I lock Roms early next month. The other reason to pause on Pilum at T4 is to get Tallios and Defiant caught up for ops before going T5 and higher. There are no hostiles there and wouldn't want to disco both ways for armadas...

Currently I have my Kelvin at T6 + 5/7 upgrades and my Valdore at T4 + 1/7 upgrades and with my level locked defiant I'm able to punch up a bit for solo armadas and get ahead on Bajoran favors. Not hurting for triple rep pulls there and usually double pulls on my armada credits. Those sources of UC ship parts help the process so much. I think having one Uncommon 4* at T7 and one at T5 makes a lot of sense to me...but I could also see stopping most ships at T5 Grinding for my newton as soon as I'm able to cross over to 46 in the next month or so

First things to focus on are the Sweeps! Honestly almost the entire beginning is pretty good. Bottom left great for saving mats long term. The swarm refinery update extremely nice for keeping the old biominerals refinery relevant.

Still say the 32 rares are too close to the 34’s and take mats away from them. They can be skipped

Definitely agree with the need to be more horizontal than vertical now. Mostly being driven by solo armadas. I would say I still struggle with the mantis grind. Not because of ship power, but because we still have Apex Actian hostiles that are stuck, which renders a lot of the systems completely unusable. This also greatly congests the systems that are usable.

Don't skip the 42s T4 or T5 is prime spot, then save up mats to reach ops46.. side note the 42 unc rom ship is a good one to get because of all the explorer parts you get from jelly events. You can then farm home systems, 46 faction ship is what you want.

@MM-ne6pk this is incorrect, you can still skip ships and tier the cube. You just have to tier your next ship. I skipped over G4 unc, G4 epic, and G5 unc. Once I tiered my sompek to T7 it fulfilled the requirements and now my cube is able to tier until I need a G5 epic or higher

I have a t4 valdore and a t3 kelvin and love it. I can take out the 50 dom and borg epics with the t6 defiant and talios. When I hit 46 I'll have a newton and a pilum. Can't imagine doing those level solos without the multiple 42s

Honestly I'm looking at this and thinking dang it's true. I'm sitting on a t7.5 Pilum, Valdore, and recently did a K'Tinga to 7 also. I use the romulan + my defiant on solos and really only got the Tinga for the BS hostile hunts and I'm regretting going past T4. It's slowed up my building and research soo much.

Still much value in maxing at least 2 3* epics...before i built my newton i ran valdor ent auger and was able to punch well above my lvl. This vs saving the faction/ away team credits to build 2 uncommon 4* ships is very cost effective

Its also nice to have the 2 extra docks

I definitely agree. A wide-but-shallow approach is very easy, now, and has such immediate payback. Solo armadas and the factions have revitalized the in-game economy in such a huge way.

Don’t forget to build G3s (uncommons work best - only 10K credits per ship) for G4 sourcing thru the Scrapyard. And skip the G4 epics - a good G4 rare will serve you well for a long time depending on research and crewing, plus they have great loot and rep bonuses. If you’re working at 42, the Valdore is easier to build up than the other two (if you’re hitting explorers with PMC). But whatever works best/is most fun.

Maxing ships,….am similar ops to you rev and f2p. For whatever reason, I think swarms perhaps, I felt centurion was the best ship to get after the vahklas. Then when I saw how garbage it is compared to saladin, saladin had a big first round weapon, handy for grinding and base attack, whereas centurion did everyhting weakly…I realised that it wasn’t worth spending rss on, especially while efficiency for mats is low. And I could see my self reaching the epic ships soon enough. So my theory for that ship, and other short term ships is and was back then too, tier up when you need to, and backfill for scrapping way into the future when efficiencies and when being able to scrap happens. Max officers yes, they will always remain max, they don’t get cheaper to max, they don’t get cheaper on the number of shards needed. By the time I maxed my centurion, I stopped at t5, the upgrades were half the cost.

The 46 rares are the ones you dump into as much as you can due to their ship bonuses. Once you finish 4* researches/buildings, you should dump into them until max

Pilum/newton/kori these ships help the grind a lot. I forsee myself using them for awhile. Cuts down on grind time, and speeds up rep gains. Get one asap get it to T5, get to ops49, then work on maxing out one or even two.

Such a shame that the JF has become a nothing ship with power creep, Scopley really needs to give it some love.

Wide shallow group of ships is very helpful for solo armadas and grinding but you really need to tier one ship to be effective in pvp.

Ok, so I definitely agree with horizontal. I can see how you could do a Gladiusb instead of D4, or something like that. But it seems you're saying a set of all 3 types of ships across 1-2 levels. One could could do all 28s and take them pretty high (t8?) and probably ride them to 34, still saving on a lot of mats vs 32s. Or build a Brel instead of a Centurion perhaps. Ultimately, I think it's how well you span the time/levels between ship builds.

I didn't skip the 3* rare ships. I got the B'rel as the Bortas wasn't getting me into the armadas. Maxed the Enterprise and took the D4 and Auger to tier8. I was hitting the bigger solo armadas when they came out as well. Right now at ops42 I have a tier5 K't'inga and a tier4 Valdore, that are my work horses with my Enterprise. What really makes your ships is the research. Got to stay on top of that, and your ships will let you punch way up.

Ive only just got my Validore and I am level 44. I'll probably only take her to lvl4 or 5 though as it just gets ridiculously expensive. Saving for a Pillum now, and still tiering my Enterprise.

What!? A game called “Fleet Command” is actually working better if you have a good fleet? Absurd! Only took them a few years. I like having one of each and leveling them. It’s nice to have a fleet of one class for events based on class. It’s also nice to grid with 3-4 ships for an event in one system where the ships can hit different targets.

I got the B'rel just because I like the look of it and currently it's my best ship but I am working on the getting the Enterprise. I just might scrap the B'rel when I do get my Enty. I didn't max it out so not that much of a cost. I did how ever get the Botas also, I needed a battleship class and that thing got maxed out quicker then the Salidan.

I did buy a pack or two. I'm not F2P, but spent less than 300 between 39 and 46. I believe it was 3-4 battlepasses and two monthlies.

I have a valdore and ktinga but still use maxed auger for armadas and d4 for pvp because they are a lot cheaper to repair

I THINK THE DOC IS BROKEN!! Not seeing any notable gain to my loot after doing back to back runs on borg hostiles. On another note and to answer your question the strategy you laid was my intended approach however I my OCD keeps driving me to max em😅. Im going to try really hard not to in the 4 star economy but we'll see

I literally pulled the trigger on ops 40 today, I will hit rep and credits by the time it hits 40 for a valdore, then I’ll just push 42, have a tier 6 auger and tier 5 enterprise, suits my gameplay perfectly fine, I’ll still upgrade them, but not a priority

Sort of.......skip all but one and just to tier 6 warp only, valdore is just a stepping stone. Upgrade it just for the warp to get into deepspace for dailies. Then get the 46's and skip the 50's ships and on to 53 uncommons. The rss's for lv 42s unc are better spent on the 46's. I drop 3 Rare lv52 solos in one trip with my big 3 (pilum, korinar, newton) 46's all tier 6 no buffs needed. I could propbably go higher but I'm sitting on months of solo armada credits for both dominion and borg. You'll get WAY better rep grinding the 49-50 in the 4* and 50-52's in the 5*'s...when you can get there, I've been lv 49 for a few months already and saved up almost enough to jump to 53.

If the uncommon g4 getting better scrap if the g6 common out! I would scrap them in 50s! I am camping OPS 56. Scoply force player to camp their! I have to bring my Armada building to 50. You need 90 k rare armada building 50 token. A lot of rare and epic armada I have to do! That is insane ! Stuck at armada building! The Sourcing of the armada rare building token should must be improved!

I am a pretty fresh lv40 Player and just got my very first G4 ship today and i needed the lv42 ship because of the warp range alone - i am simply stuck and i could use my feesha to get to warp 200 but my combat ship range was effectivly 100 to 120 i was not able to participate on alliance Armadas in the deeper Regions of Dark Space

I have skipped the 32s both times I tried the game, back in 2020 and 2022 (quit at 35 resp. 33). I also both times skipped the white 3* ships at 20, 22 and 24. The first time when there was no cloaking, I also skipped the 26 ship and only built the Sallie. Couldn't get the Enterprise or any other epic ship before I quit. The second time, by the time I quit, I had a 26 and a 28 ship, but the sheer amount of special ships has made me leave for good, won't return a third time for sure.

Lvl 46 currently (totally f2p as in zero spend at all). I made the choice to skip the 42 ships (and only built the jelly for the brawl event - its still t1). I did max my enterprise by lvl41 and used a t7 gladius as a grind ship. Was this a good strategy? Yes and No. Yes, because as a f2p player, my goal was to get to 46 as fast as possible, which I managed pretty quickly compared with other alliance teamates (who were also light spenders). Not spending 4* mats at all (jelly was built and thats it) made my trip to 46 as fast as it could have been, so if thats your goal, i can recommend doing it as an option. However, be prepared for extra time in the game, and quite a few work arounds to get to systems outside of warp range of the 3g epics. Doable yes, but needs some planning. No, because of the way the game has changed in the last few months, Rev mentions how the game has become more horizontal rather than vertical, and that's the real issue. There are so many more facets (read grinds) to the game that require more than 1 very capable ship, - solo armadas a good example. So while its still possible to jump to 46 with just an 34 epic ship, I concur with Rev its no longer a good option to do so.

Wrong crew on your solo mada Rev, try Sisko Miles Bashir on your Pilum, Five, Khan, Gorkon on your Ktinga, and Laforge, Bev, Worf (for the full synergy) on your Defiant. You'll get much better results.

Nope, does worse. Putting sisko-bashir together is SILLY, imo. Why double stack crits? need it on other boats!

28 + epic 34 + mantis or talios works fine for solo armadas, L42 is a must for the warp range.

Lvl 35 ops been using a max saladin for everything. 17 bps from the d4

Should do a update on which ships to get for daily grinds n such. I maxed a brel and have been doing well at lvl 39 for dailes. Saving 4 ktinga curently

I have skipped the 32s and never missed them. Tbh with aug/ent/talios i have a decent battle triangle at my desposal (and sal, definetly still use my sal)

I built the Kelvin to get me from my maxed Enterprise and my Jelly to my Newton and Pilum. If i ever get to 50 ill build the Enterprise but i don't know if that will ever happen. I have zero interest in any of the Klingon ships but Federation and Romulan rep both have the billion lock.

With the special ships like Tailos and Defiant and his boost and cerrito boost now Titian. Thi ship is for long time usage. But not rare 32, uncommon 42!or for me uncommen 52 ! I am more PVE ! The 42 are skiptable. I would not buy any blue prints for the 42. just grind in Solos, Kronos and Romulus. I also grind the g4 miner their. It help also with bp for 46. 46 is a must have ship. for free to play tier 9 is sweet spot but if you delphine you can take them to tier 12. It give you very good Bonus for Material Spend SLB . The 42 will get in the 50s useless. Maybe only for Material spend events. Like Jelly. I also go for epic g4 and skip the 52 g5 uncommon ship! It help me a lot to push fast ops 56 Sanctus. I choose Sanctus because it me less ore for OPs akadamie and Storage and Tresor. So I can get to ops 60 faster. And I kill Klingoen. Sanctus is much faster in grinding in High Warp rang in 480 and 500. I think more import which ship you get is your Rep Level. This also define which Ship you can skip or can build.

I'm camping at level 39 until i get all my research done. I'm also taking the time to max out my 3* ships for scraping. I'm still debating on what to do with my 4* uncommon ships

Tier 6 if you want a good effective PvE and armada boat. Tier 6 over tier 5 because you get an extra officer slot at tier 6 and the cost begins to dramatically increase.

I am curious who you are using as a crews on the ships in capital systems. Regular transports i just use PMC on my Ent and Bev Skinny Mudd and Tlaan for the Auger on heavies. Who are you using for a 3rd crew?

It's a tough call what to recommend for newer folks just based on the new specialty ships like the Talios and Defiant being so potentially strong and having the warp range advantages over everything 3* yes solomadas are a thing and I think it's smart to have one very strong faction ship and one weaker faction ship. But you definitely don't need to hit every rung on the ladder if you have good ones that work.

Tough part is, at level 35, Defiant & Talios are pretty weak cause they're limited to Tier 1. Tier 3 at level 39 is slightly better but not much!

For me, my plans is to skip the g4 epics. I grinded out all 3 lvl42 ships and have them at t6. My Pilum is t6. But given how long it will be before I hit lvl53, ill get and develop all 3 lvl46 ships and be happy as I wont need those resources once I cross into g5.

While I didn't read all the comments here but why was there no mention of the defiant and the new tallos in this video? Those ships can help you move from the late 30's into the 46 ships and allow you to skip many faction ships in-between. The biggest negitive is the lack of crystal if youre going after a pilum at 46.

I wouldn't ever recommend using those to skip, because it will several hinder your reputation grinding.

Wondering of restarting using only Vidar from 20s and Talios from 30s

This is a strategy I've been employing for months as a 42.... I am able to punch out 51 rares as of yesterday still have yet to test a 50 epic.... trying to convince people in my alliance has been hard though.... the voice of the 50+ whales still holds more weight hopefully this video will convince them otherwise 😆

I've got a T4 Kori, a KTinga, & a Kelvin at lv 46. I've heard you should skip the 50s, but I really like the Tribune. Should I build it when I get to 50 Rev?

My Hangar/Garage is going to get full. I was a sport utility vehicle 1 ship / car for everything. Now (solo armadas) I need a family car.. a work car and a car for the wife . Any chance I can get a used ship/ car with low miles and good maintenance 😅

Even on 2021 I keep teling you can not skip ships. That was true on 2019 but Solo Armadas completed killed the ship skip. Also the game make those quest you need to use a type of ship and It pains me OP 44+ to do event on Augur T9 (Newton is near to pair w Pilum). Also skiping a ship might not save you credits and materials for next ship evem more now with Talios giving good amount to pull independent and faction credits and still have more to use. Talios did put the last nail on skip ship coffin.

I dont see heavys yet im only 33 got intrepid working on enterprise guess u can get it at 34 yay me

You can literally take the 42 ships and ride them all the way to ops 53 for the next uncommon no problem. I went valdore -> corvus and with moderate spending it ended up tier 9 or 10 by the time I got the corvus. It's currently around 34M power and a great pvp boat.

@lostmypillow mostly monthly battlepass and monthly pack. Only a few good value packs other than that. The 42 uncommons get to g5 space with the warp range research that you get in the mid 40's.

Hey Rev won't the Tallios serve the purpose of the 3rd ship?

In terms of value to cost I would skip the 34's now unless you get for free and use the Talios to bridge the gap between 34 and 42.

See, I think the Epics are WAY too important for one huge reason: Rep grinding. Don't forget, there are several researches that improve how much rep you get per hit, BUT, that's tied to FACTION ships. Can be a gamechanger for rep grinding!

Don't you also need to have one of the 34s or ISS Jellyfish to do the thing to get to ops 40 to begin with? I thought you had to beat an epic armada using Ent/D4/Aug/ISS Jelly to unlock ops 40?

I took a few month away from the game and am doing some catching up. So if i am understanding this vid right, as a weaker lvl 39, i have a t6 D4, t6 brel and a t 4 Ent. I should keep them there. Get Ent to 5-6. And then hopefully punch up on solo armadas?

I'd say you're in a good position that allows you to focus more on the specialty ships. Defiant/talios/Cerritos/Amalgam/TitanA.

10m rep per day grinding...Rev if you have a pilum and you are ONLY getting 10m per day you are doing it wrong. Commander kirk + rep research + pilum loot boost against 51/52 g5 surveys (use SNW w Hemmer) you should be getting 8 or 10m rep per run. A big reason you missed with the pilum tiering past 5 is loot bonus scales by tier, thats incredibly helpful

I ground out all three lvl 42 ships in 3 months. Best decision I made in making sure I can now punch up to lvl 51 solo armadas even at my ops lvl 44.

How often are you grinding dominion hostiles for Bajoran rep? Every day? I really hate having to do so much in so many different systems EVERY DAY. Even with the research for Freebooters, it's annoying.

I skipped all of the 32 ships, and would suggest the same thing to anyone else.

What about still skipping them but subbing the Talios in their place. In the long run the Talios has a lot of upside. I know it’s level locked and I haven’t looked at exactly what those levels are and what power you might be able to reach by each lock so maybe that’s a problem….?

Depends on which ship you're talking about subbing, but the BIGGEST argument against that, is rep grinding. Faction ships have several researches that greatly improve the amount of rep they earn when hitting hostiles. Talios doesn't get that. So when you need to grind 300 million rep to get to the next ship, really nice to be using faction ships.

@@WALTERBROADDUS I would skip the D4, because the D4 uses crystals and ship that you need for Tallios and Defiant will need and will last you for a long time. G3 faction miners also need crystals.

@rev Deuce, I think you have forgotten the core players. You are a Dolphin. Most players can't punch much higher with their defiant because we have not had it that long. Most are half your power and Most of the time, the defiant blows up on the even armadas or is so heavily damaged where it can't go again. With you being gifted or buying these new items, you don't have to fight the same way and strategically plan like the ftp or low spenders do. It makes a MASSIVE DIFFERENCE. I am not saying there is anything wrong with it but the average player can't do what you are doing or follow in your steps the same way. I agree that the game has gone more horizon over vertical and while that is a good thing, I think it is also a way for the whales to not be challenged as much, like they were being, by those who leap frogged over ships/tiers. I am 46 and I have almost 100k mats saved up for each type. I can go to 49. I don't have a 46 ship yet because I dont have the faction to buy one on 2 (but I have the credits) and the 3rd is bil locked but not the credits. So either I wait a couple more months for a 46 or I push 49 and 53 quicker and buy 2 5* uncommon ships. I will go vertical and then I can flatten out.

I run multiple pure F2P accounts :) it is CERTAINLY possible to do what I'm saying. There are MANY F2P who are past me already.

@@RevDeuce @@RevDeuce those ftp are not the average. For new players, on new servers, mid 30s this works very well and is a great ideal. For established servers and the majority of the player base, the game is vastly different. But I know my playstyle is different. I bought extra defiant parts in the last event store. A higher tier defiant makes a massive difference in solo armadas and jem Hadar sourcing/buying. It allows more resources. If I had not pushed to 46 as the solos dropped I might have taken this broader approach. I just see solos as a way to slow down player growth. If 46s had better sourcing, I might have focused on a couple. Players just getting to 46 and who can get 2 rares, this is a great path. Those 47+ I think this is better for camping at 53. Edit: It really depends on where a mid40 player is at with faction, credits, and 4* rare ships. In my case, I think it is better to push 53. For players with a 46 already and close to a second, yours is best.

No worries, you have a different strat, but I can guarantee you I have a pretty good both practical experience and mathematical efficient approach to this and what's best for the average player. That's almost entirely who I interact with, and I interact with several thousand. More than one way to play this game for sure!

@@RevDeuce absolutely. Again, if I had a 4* rare and close to a second, I would be doing this too. I just think it is worth it more, in the long run, to just push a little more to 53 for those ships. I will eventually get them all. Most players go much slower than me. I was playing catchup from a year and a half off. I went from a sally to t3 aug to valdore. I am still debating on going for the doctor in the next slb or if I should wait until next month for a potentially better officer that has greater game support.

Personally, I'm not going 5* until 6* releases. Economy up there is ridiculous.

They have massively increased both resources and efficiencies with the new loops. That means ships aren't as expensive to advance and solos mean you need more decent ships. I think the only exception to the don't max ships rule are the specialist ships. You sound be aiming to max all of those except for the Sarcophagus and the Franklin A

I def max most specialties. Maxing faction ships gets pricey, PARTICULARLY in the G4/G5 arenas because of the absurd costs of tiers 10-12 with rares + epics.

I‘m 36 and I have about 700,000 Away Team Credits. At which lvl will there be new ships in the Away Team Shop?

Still say the lvl 32 ships are useless I can easily kill 32 ships w my 28 ships and the rss you drain away even getting them to tier 5 is allot. Your game play will go allot smoother saving for 34 ships. You can easily ride the 28 ships until 34 and not waste any rss. The jump in power from 32 to 34 really make the 32s instantly obsolete and once again you can still use the 28 ships to do faction pve dalies.

This is not even debatable. I can't imagine anyone could possibly skip level 42 ships. It would take at least a year from ops 39 to 46 if not heavily invest into the game, probably a year just from 42 to 46. Without 42 ships there are no ships to use.

Still don't think the 32 rare ships are worth it if u dual grind ur rep. Skip those by time u hit 35 u can have 2 g3 epics that will perform much better in solos cardi's formation faction and pvp

I'm sorry you can't kill the level 40 uncs doms without a second epic ship at level 35 I have two rares past t5 and an auger. That no work. Yes you can kill a level 41 borg with it but you can't punch up the dom with it
