Thanks for this video. It’s exactly what I was looking for after listening to Road to 10 Placements. Follow up question: How do you filter that income through your LLC if you’re collecting royalties as a writer? (I have BMI)

I think what he's saying is, the music libraries that you upload your tracks to, are publishers; they will register your songs on your behalf to any relevant PROs, if they get used. The music libraries are the middle man between you and the production companies using your music, they are publishing your music for you.
Hello!! thanks for the info, i have a question: so lets say I bought a beat license, the license says that i own 100% of the publishing. but im also putting lyrics into this master.. how should i register this? Knowing that i want to protect my lyrics too thank you!
How long does your BMI registration last after the automatic 2 year renewal?
Some supervisor don't want to with BMI,ASCAP,SESAC. What are some other PRO companies out there? Asking to be sure. Thanks in advance.
As a producer is it better to pay the fee for a publisher or is it ok to go with the writer side? (For BMI) because there’s a free and paid version compared to ASCAP

Def start with the writers first. If you are going to go the music library/sync licensing company route, they are going to become the publisher anyway.
