Doc, what do you think about hair pieces that are glued to your head? Are they safe? Do they look natural to non-surgeons, ha. How long do they last? Do you have a video on this topic? Thank you, bruh.
Hi Lord Gary, how far is the industry from using patient stem cells to grow their own hair, and use that to implant into the scalp or face (brows, beards)? That would be amazing if the tech is close to becoming a reality
it sounds like biocompatible fibers are a misnomer because a percentage gets rejected every year. fyi polyamide is a type of plastic, though it’s very soft and durable.
Do those micro needle rollers work to stimulate hair growth? Just wondering if it can help my receding hair line at the corners of my forehead. Thanks!

Hi, Dr. Gary! What do you think of clinics that offer "alternative" hair restoration procedures? I've read about the bSBS protocol (introduced by an Italian medical group), which allegedly comprises a host of genetic exams and procedures that ensure that "sick" hair follicles are properly "cured". The fact that this sounds fantastic on paper is definitely the reason why it smells a tad fishy to me! In your opinion, what red flags should we look out for to avoid scams?
Seems like more trouble than it's worth, but whatever works for people. Avodart for my prostate works for me, at an affordable price. The added benefit of moderate hair restoration is a welcome benefit.
I love you Dr Gary..Happy Thanksgiving. I've been thinking for some years about having rhinoplasty surgery but it looks so barbaric is there any other less invasive way to file down the bridge of ones nose without hacking at someone's face with what looks like a chisel? Lol my insurance wouldn't cover it I'm in NYC.

Do transplanted body hairs to the scalp require finasteride for maintenance?
Eyebrows look fantastic! But don't rush the scalp- I think your bald look is wonderful!
I doubt this "hair" would age well, even if it stayed on the scalp. The color would likely oxidize and it would lose its shape and would go flat. Take notice of a wig when it is new and one that has been used for quite a while.
Navigating this industry is like navigating a minefield.

Should I was my hair every single day in 3 month after a FUE?
Hello Sir, I have been watching your videos since a long time and it has helped me to a good extent . For hair, I just did the basic natural stuff you told and used natural herbs as I can not afford medical treatment due to financial situation. Also, I have serious skin issues. My injuries never heal completely and leaves a black mark, my whole body has strange skin marks, stretch marks, keloid scars etc. In teenage, I had hundreds of pimples all over my body. Whenever I am in Sun, my skin starts burning & itching in few minutes. Can you please help me out somehow ? I am from India. My Gratitude
these fibers remind me of body mods (like the kind you get from a certified piercer or body mod implant piercer). i dont mean this in a bad way, but really fascinating. I feel like the stigmatization of body modifications (think Ripley Believe it or Not) is a disadvantage to the medical industry. There's a lot plastic surgeons can really embrace within that community that might help patients and expand technology for people. The implant stuff makes a lot of sense to me as someone who is in the mod community. You do too much at once you're going to run a very high risk of rejection, you implant the wrong area with the wrong object/jewelry high rejection risk, do too much without letting you body heal between mods high risk of rejection. the big three are location, jewelry/object, and aftercare. Aftercare extends to time between modification. The general rule of thumb with piercings is 3-4 in a year or you will start run the risk of rejection, infection, and reduction in heal time. Granted everybody has a different body so some could do more some might be able to only get 1 a year. I saw a tweet where someone was like i hated my nose, and i was going to get a nose job, but a friend said try a nose piecing (you can remove it if you hate it and then get the nose job), and the person ended up loving her nose from a simple piercing. Comments under the tweet were like i did this too and it showed me how i could like my nose.

I wouldn't want an artificial hair but it they can use my own stem cell to create hair and implant it into my scalp. I would jump on it. Is there such a thing Doc?
Honestly it just doesn't sound like that great of a procedure. Any procedure that requires that frequent of "touch ups" basically means any change in the patient's financial situation becomes a health risk. That's something I don't think is brought up enough even with procedures as common as breast implants.

I just want to say thatI think you look great either way. In fact, I thought you were one of those men that bald looked really flattering on. As long as you are happy, then that is all that really matters. But you wore bald very well. I am happy your hair is coming back most especially if that is what you wanted. You rocked the bald look though.
How do you get a hair cut if you have fake hairs mixed with real hair?
Could you transplant a dead person's hair follicle to an alive person, has it ever be tried?
They make incredibly realistic and long-lasting hair systems now and they are highly customizable. They are expensive, but so is this procedure and the required upkeep. I understand the appeal of this type of hair implant, but I don't think it's worth the risks or the complicated upkeep. Personally I would much rather buy high quality wigs or get a hair system installed.
Interesting! I had never heard of synthetic hair implants before. So if they can implant synthetic hair can other peoples hair ever be used in a hair transplant? As opposed to the patients own hair.

Can you do Jessica Simpson plastic surgery video please?
Hello doc! Didn't watch any of your videos yet, heh, but I would really need you to answer to my next questions because there are so... particular, specific, I think, heh. You should even do a video about ideas most of people think about hair loss and myths and so on, by responding to questions like mine. 1. Sometimes you can restore your hair just by treatment without transplant? Or did I understood wrong that part you said something about, in the video about Radal? Or, first, you need treatment to get hair transplant? Treatment for what, for reducing the DHT to be sure you won't lose more old hair around the new transplanted one? Or, you can lose from DHT your new hair also? 2. Male baldness is mostly about too much DHT? That's why black females lose hair and most of black men don't, because black women have enough Testosterone to have too much DHT and black males usually have too much ("very high" enough) Testosterone not to get converted a lot of it into DHT? Usually men with lots of Testosterone have better hormonal balance to minimise DHT forming, right? 3. What is the most right minimum price for a hair transplant? If it costs only 2000€ then it might not be serious enough? What prices do you have for, ugh, basically "God's penis on top of your head" not too deep baldness pattern? 4. What else really important should I take in consideration? Very low Testosterone wouldn't massively reduce the DHT also?

Great information. Not for me though
10% failure rate. And the type of infections are life threatening. Not good.
Very surprised that the organization behind organic transplants would poo poo a method that could eventually make them obsolete.
thats mean will get infection gradually
Oh no! Not the land title scam. Shaking my hairless head.
Sounds painful and causes serious infection
Might as well just use hair systems [wig] instead of inserting artificial hair and risking infection. Wigs / transplants over artificial fibres any day.
