GODDAMNIT! She jump in my bag 2 times (im at 130) and NTR Knight banner gonna be gone soon. Welp look like my luck gain Flametail S3

I thought Flametail would be a possible replacement for Texas S2 but taking a proper look at the details, Flametail's shorter stun is a deal breaker. Unfortunate because I thought she could replace Texas if/when Texas gets an alter in the future and I can no longer bring the original when I deploy the alter.

She may not have the higher stun but overall she's a better lane holder with her crazy dodge, nice that she can give some of it to others too. Also if you have Aak E2, she can dodge his damage and still get buffed and it makes her atk speed insane which combos with her talent to double strike after dodging.

Flametail is way more durable than Texas, you probably shouldn't compare them 1 to 1. Less stun, but the dodge adds a lot of survivability and she's overall tankier than Texas even without the dodge. She will be doing some decent damage while holding a lane

My antithesis would be that, her s2 isn't even her best skill. You're not looking at the whole picture.

Once I get Nearl Alter in the upcoming Banner, imma stop pulling. If I get Flametail ok if I dont ok. I already have 2 build pioneer 6 star operator and I love Siege and Saga very much so I'm not particularly interested in getting Flametail but knowing Hypergryph, they'll give me 2 or 3 Flametails and an off banner 6* before I get Nearl Alter. Anyways goodluck to all of us. May we get our waifus and husbandos.

She's not my main focus, but i would gladly pull for her. Her voice makes her pretty cute

thats enough copium bro. No ones gonna use texas or flametail as a laneholder. Even if youre playing with vanguardnights, Bagpipe would still be a better choice. Also, tha aak combo youre talking about is just for memes and not practical at all.

if youre using flametail s2, texas would be a better and cheaper option. If youre using flametail s3, Bagpipe s3 is 10x better.

@@yuuka2298 its not copium but I appreciate the small amounts of disrespect you decided to sprinkle in your response. I never said Flametail is the best option. I'm just explaining that Flametail has uses and combos that I felt like pointing out. Overall Texas s2 will be considered better because the Stun is longer, but giving everyone dodge could be a niche use someone would want to make use of. And as far as her s3, no Bagpipe isnt comparable. Flametail s3 isnt pure damage, its also survivability. I could put Flametail in a lane by herself and with her s3 she would survive better or possibly longer than Bagpipe because all she gets effectively is a damage boost. Yes both of them get increased block count, but as a Pioneer she beats Bagpipe in that regard anyway. And tbh most things people use Aak for are for memes anyway, but turning a laneholder into a blender is a valid strat, especially considering shes one of the few ops who wouldnt take the full damage from his buff, so you wouldnt need to bring Shining or someone else just to protect/heal her. And her s2 dodge could be used to help other ops dodge Aaks damage from his buff as well. In the end it doesnt matter either way, the meta is bagpipe and flag bearers. Anyone doing anything different will probably be using Saga (like I am). And if they don't have those options or dont want to then theyll use either Flametail or Siege depending.

@@tigerfalco For clarity, Bagpipe S3L7 gives her +90% DEF for the duration alongside attacking three times at once. You could say that her LBB is also a survivability skill because of this, but Flametail has so much more opportunities to use her S3 compared to Bagpipe's S3 just because of the sheer lower DP cost overall and the fact that she has an 80% chance to null all kinds of damage. Either way, they both have different roles to fulfill. People can use what they want, honestly. A lot of people just love dissing what isn't the top meta.

Just like everyone Nearl is my top priority cause of the bond I found when I joined the game. She was my most wanted defender, and now when she's stronger, she's a must get for me. But after reading the Maria Nearl story and Pinus Sylvestris stories, I have taken a liking to “Flametail” Sona too. Honestly if she's comes alongside Nearl I would consider myself very lucky. But am not gonna try getting her after I get Nearl. Might try a few pull, but not much since Bing chil-Ling is close too.

Someone did a video on what happens If you pair her with Aak and Warfarin which results her becoming a red hurricane of a thousand slashes.

After all this year i kinda want to hear frostbyte real voice

Great video, *but* on another note... You know you "should" make a KZread pull, when the moment will arrive, to see which one is the "favorite Nearl", among the doctahs, to continue the bloodline.

I got 3 new vanguard in this banner.. flametail, siege & saga (I only got texas build, for same archetype).. now I dont know which 3 can replace texas lol (texas too low damage most of the time)

@@darkomega6597 Siege+Texas is a good combo. Texas gets more damage from being deployed alongside Siege so its compensated to an extent, but the closest you have to Texas is Flame because of her S2, despite the lower stun time, but I'd say she's more flexible in case you want her to fill in Texas' shoes or if you want an independent lane holder that has good survivability.

She just got significantly better with addition of Mlynar (she reflects dmg now) and Stainless (s2 SP generation makes her spam s3)

She is coming back and I'm getting her this time for the dodging buff I can apply on my NTR, wish everyone who wish to obtian this smol squirrel knight a very pleasant afternoon and may the RNGod be on your side

If I get her, then I'll probably raise her for my Vanguard only team. But otherwise, not really aiming for her. She's a bonus for getting ntr knight

I'd totally get for her. I tried her in CN serv. (friend account) and she is fun to play with dodging mechanics. Her performance maybe hard to use. But if you use correctly she can be very fun to play with. Especially in IS#2.

I managed to try her for free in IS2, and you're right.

Her second talent really compliments gravel

I'm here after doing 200 pulls in the banner using my f2p savings hoping to get Nearl Alter but instead, I got 6 Flametails and not even a single Nearl Alter just to convince myself if I should build Flametail... I can't believe I almost potential 6 a character because of this...

Don't worry, i did 300 pulls and got only off banner, so pot 6 Flame is great ahah

i will pull just until some 6* come out, since i'm reserving my draws for Ling and Gnosis(supporter knights for the life) between NTR and Flametail, i prefer the second for waifu and design purposes

i'm absolutely obsessed with using her rn just the prospect of a tiny operator dodging some few nuclear hits is enough to satisfy my dumb brain

Gonna complete the Pinus Sylvestris Knight Club, so yeahhhhh boiiss

I already got her in my second draw at the mountain banner idk if she was good so I was looking for a video if she's good or not

Since I'll use her s3 more than s2 I'll be having my fun with that

Can her s1 dodge the golem punches of doom? If so, might be another permastall option then, if combined with certain other ops, for the few times that they appear. (Which, as it turns out, they'll be a lot more relevant in the coming 10 weeks.)

So update, I came back here because I skipped the banner and got her during the free daily pulls

I'm going for NTR but I really want her too even tho I have Siege and Saga E2'ed and M3'd

i realize the problem with chance based skill in this game is that the auto-deploy will not be 100%

is this first "maybe" on shoud you build series ?

i got literally every member of the team except Ashlock plus a pot 6 flametail before getting 1 Nearl Alter

I wish her s3 lasted a bit longer it gives her a unique role of fighting or staling tougher enemies that saga and siege can't deal with without sacrificing their aoe but with its current duration she can't punch above her weight as much as she should

@@premiumyt2324 well hellagur dodges while still doing a lot of damage, she'd be better at dodge but worse at damage, sounds like a fair trade, plus hellagur is pretty good on all skills even if he's replaceable dodge wise

I am very torn over this banner. Should I pull for one 6* and then dip or go all in? On one hand, I really want NTR Knight because I know she will be usefull, on the other hand, I really want Flametail because I really like her design, theme and kit. The problem is I also want to save up as many pulls as possile to eliminate the chance of not getting Irene and Spalter 6 months from now on.

You can just try your luck with the daily pulls (that’s how I got my flame tail). And besides we still have 16 more days to make up ur mind (if your curious in what I’m doing, I’m just skipping this banner and farming for specter alter and Irene)

@@iotaku Thanks for the tip, although I've already pulled on the banner. Used under 60 pulls so far and I've gotten NTR Knight twice and then I got spooked by Siege. Probably going to start saving so I can hit pity on the CC#7 banner (worst case is Phantom pot which is not even bad) and then just save everything for Irene. I will also probably skip Ling banner, I just don't like her that much.

"Unlike her first skill the average DP generation (skill 3) is considered better". Because 0.33 DP/s with a 8 second ICD is somehow worse than 0.33 DP/s with a 9 second ICD. Also for those curious skill 2 is 0.325 DP/s with a 10 second ICD. All her skills are about the same, a rounding error in DP gen if your not hovering over her to fire off skills. Not sure if there is something weird going on but it seems a lot of people are saying (some) of Flametail's skills have bad DP gen. Not sure what they are comparing it to other than Myrtle to get that idea. Her DP/s is about par for the course compared to other 5/6* Pioneer Vanguards (0.33 DP/s with skill 1s, slightly worse with skill 2s). Siege/Saga CAN have better DP/s with their skill 2s but that requires Saga getting execution(s) or Siege having multiple deaths beside her per skill activation.

If I get her I get her, otherwise I wouldn’t really upgrade her since I had Dual Flag bearer. And saga too but nah.

She can be a great dodge tank for Patriot with skill 1

I'd like to get her just to complete Pinus Sylvestris.

Once you have the Bagpipe, Mertyle, Elysium combo, I don't really see the point in building any other vanguards. I only play general content, and I'm not really interested in completing highest CC risk.
