For those that have it, WC18 is an option as well, there's a lot of opportunity to attack BGW18 and DGW20 if it happens. With the likes of Chelsea, Newcastle, Villa having good games in 18, it will be possible to have a great starting 11, with the likes of Gordon and Palmer etc. This allows you to afford Haaland and Mbeumo and one more to sit on the bench ready for DGW20. The advantage of this is you'll have a very similar team to the Free Hitters whilst saving it yourself to use later in the season. In addition, with this strategy, you can completely attack all the remaining gameweeks 13 to 17 and do whatever you want without having to worry about fielding 11 decent players in 18. This strategy will allow you to attack from now all the way through the new year!

you’re not wrong, but I think the free hit wins, because the team you want 19-21/22 is basically the same as the one you’d want 14-17. The free hit team in 18 is mostly NOT what you’d want 19 onwards. I know you could dead end and WC in 19 but still diminishes the squad on the lead up to 18

How likely are you to FH Pras? This has me definitely considering it now

I have set up to save it as I am keeping Son, Watkins. Have Wood, Taylor instead of Archer, Kabore etc.

@@Pras_fpl Yeah hear you I have Son, Watkins depending on if he’s out tmw but if he is I’ll bring him back and Taylor, should have Porro too. When are you leaning towards playing it in then 29 or 34?

​@@Pras_fpl Hi Pras, initially I thought WC19 as well because of your point. Then I realised, you can make a very good GW18 team, just as an example starting 11: Raya, Porro, James, Cash, Lascelles, Gordon, Palmer, Diaby, Son, Watkins, Isak AND have Ederson, Haaland, Mbeumo and Saliba on the bench AND with money itb to bring in Saka in GW19. This would give me a great GW18 team like the free hitters, (my dead end team would not be as good), as well as 3 Arsenal from GW19 onwards, and 3 City and Mbeumo for DGW20. I also like the look of Villa & Chelsea attack post-GW18. Yes the money will be spread around a lot, but Son will free up even more when he leaves for Asia - we'll be rolling in it by 21! The main disadvantage to this idea is I'd have to sacrifice Salah. If he's off to AFCON by 21, then that means losing out against Arsenal, Newcastle and Burnley.

As Indian FPL creators, how hard was it to build a dedicated global follower base, and is a solid rank history the only way for people to take you seriously? Really curious to know :)

If your content was competitive you could be successful imo. Twitter is a great place to kickstart your following. Also if you didn't have a great rank history but you happened to have an excellent season while producing content that would also jumpstart your following. Both Focal and Raptor built huge amounts of their following due to strong starts to their first season seriously creating content.

Just trying to talk sense over a long period of time and the profile grows. No shortcuts there tbh. Rank can help of course but not essential.
