Hello, currently pursuing mba in HR domain. I am very much interested in Anthropology, Ancient world history, Archeology & genetics. ( I don't have any formal education and degrees in this 4 subjects). Wish to combine this 4 elements and pursue my phd from an ivy league university and eventually do research. But due to financial constraints & the need to support family had to take up the call to pursue mba. How should I transition from my current situation to pursuing my passion in a sustainable manner ? By the time I complete my mba I will be 27. Will need to work for atleast 6-7 years in corporate sector. I am afraid that I will never be able to achieve my dream as increased responsibilities will not allow me to quit my job and go abroad. What should I do ?

@Amazonforest11 Don't go for this field because by the time you start learning this this must have moved so much that you would not be able to add value in this and biology based courses are tough to be maintained in India and ismein hi particularly career banane ke liye atleast a masters is needed and phd karke bhi is field mein logon ko nahi mil raha.

@@Icelander00 Yes, that is what I plan to do as of now. In the next 4 years I plan to complete my masters in Archeology and Anthropology from IGNOU. The main thing which I am worried about is, even after completing that, the research opportunities especially in a religious nation like India are very very limited. And if you aim to specialize in a domain like disappearance of human species there are no opportunities available here.

Gardening me kharcha tho he investment of time aur mehnat bhi hota he but you get something organic and homegrown - if you don't want to invest time and money decide Karlo ki i will spend only 5 or 10 min. Otherwise padhai aur job/business will yield you good money to buy organic food.
