In my local US market, a bottle of Tanduay Gold is only $19.99! Pretty good price even if it’s only an average mixer.
Excellent video. In my position based on my local store if Appleton Estate Signature is $19.99 for 750ml / $34.99 for 1.75L compared to 8yr at 32.99 and 12 yr at $34.99 (8/12 is 750ml) is the 12 year twice as better than the Signature brand? For me, I don't like drinking neat, but like to add about 10ml of Maple Syrup and bitters. I did purchase Plantation 5yr for $19.99 and that tasted really good neat, but based on my taste buds it had more banana taste/smell than I would like. Also, I did a head-to-head with Flor de cana 7 and as an old fashioned I liked the Flor De Cana 7 over the Plantation 5 yr. Might try the Appletion Signature.
Hi Steve. Honestly never tried any asian rums( Maybe I should dig into some). By the way whaddaya think of Worthy Park Rum Bar Gold? Is this one fit for sippin' or just a mixin' stuff?

Bit of both! Cracking mixer...and yeah, while Worthy Park do way better sipping Rums, there's nothing wrong with sipping it neat!

…but to have something uniquely not from the Caribbean in your collection that’s drinkable. Kinda fun, no? I’m weighing a purchase of the Tanduay Double Rum 16 yr that just became available in my state. Seems like it could be a competent sipper. Let me know if I should pull the trigger at $49.99 USD. Btw, enjoying your content. Keep it up. Did you do Brugal 1888 yet?

Think there’s a Brugal 1888 out there amongst my 1000+ Videos. But it will come again when we visit Dom Rep in a few months.
