Do you feel like the iPad mini is too small to take notes? I have heard that comment from some other reviewers and wanted to know if it’s a good note taking device with the Apple Pencil.

@@Lightning-rs7yz it might be a slight adjustment for people who are used to big sheets of paper,but as somebody who really liked medium and small sized notebooks it didn’t take long for it to feel normal. Taking notes horizontally gives an adequate amount of room to write (with big or small handwriting) and as long as you don’t mind scrolling a bit more than you would on a bigger tablet it’s a great note taking tablet.

ALSO TOTALLY BEAUTIFUL. The iPad mini shown in this video is (IMO) one of Apple’s prettier devices its design is just so perfect.

I should mention the iPad Air is by no means flawed, and I've been able to produce some killer pieces - it's just too big for my more portable intentions. For the same price of my 256gb iPad I could've grabbed a 256gb cellular iPad Mini with more portability. It's just a matter of taste, but I'd much rather stick an iPad Mini in my hoodie pocket than sling the Air over my shoulder with a shoulder strap.

The air gives you the option for the M1 chip which is technically better for rendering and video editing so in terms of rendering speeds the air is better

I wish they make one pro mini version of this with mini led and 120refresh rate

You can wish all u like for a Pro model in it‼️🤡 But if phones can have a 120hz refresh rate, so could this device. But it really only needs to fix up the 'jelly-scroll'.

I love it! We had the iPad mini 2 and we recently bought the brand new one with the network system added on and the highest level of memory. It's been fantastic non glitchy and the battery lasts forever. We travel a lot abroad and we have to do business but we don't want to carry a full-size tablet or laptop and this is has been perfect for us. Also on the plains it's worked great to pop out movies without having to pull out an entire iPad or laptop as well. All in all I give it two thumbs up and would highly recommend it 😁

If they give the new mini an XDR display and m1 chip and reduce the bezels by 15% for almost 9 inch of screen in the same size tablet as it is now then 100% I want the mini

I was pretty disappointed that they couldn't slap on an oled panel on that, even for consuming content, I'd much rather use my phone which has an oled panel, otherwise it's amazing for note taking as a student

The large variety of productivity uses for the Mini demonstrates how versatile it can be. A Master of Non - But Good at a lot of stuff - Fine by me!!! I bought an iPad Mini Cellular 9 years ago. I do not browse with it - I'm an adult - so I use my 14" laptop to browse and an Apple TV for viewing. After 9 years of ownership - I use my Mini almost exclusively when I "TRAVEL" - to do the following (otherwise it sits in a drawer) #1- as a GPS unit in my vehicles - the best GPS ever (70%) That's after over 150K miles of road trips - when I need a GPS around town - my iPhone works fine. #2 - as a Sidecar or mirror screen to view video paired with a M2 MBA (25%) #3 - as an eReader (4%) #4 - the odd miscellaneous task (1%) This might change with the pencil. I will likely buy the new Mini 7 when it comes out @ year end. The Mini is simply a great portable high performance device that sits between an iPhone & MBA M2 as a complimentary device.

i have the 12.9” m1 and it’s too big for casual use for me so i got the mini and love it. i think the 11” is more manageable but it is nice to have a separate smaller tablet for flexible use case if you use the 11” for work/school primarily

I think digital art is best used on larger i pads. I can’t imagine using something so small to draw like I do on the pro 11inch. Idk maybe just my preference I need large area.

It does, if u get the cellular version. (Didn't u know that⁉️) As u can use it as a phone. But still too big to place in pocket. I've used it as such, as a friend of mine has the cellular model. Just waiting on the 7.

I had the ipad mini 1st gen when it first came out and it saved me in high-school when my cheap dad wouldn't provide a proper laptop that wasn't on its last legs. I had to abandon it when it wouldn't open to a ipad 9th Gen. It's nice to have a big screen but for reading it hurts the eyes and hands. I'll get a mini 6th Gen soon.

@@dffoosag3583Yeh.. but that is still very slow, just like he is. 🤡 It hasn't got updates since start of 2016...8 yrs. It has too much lag as well. One of my kids has a mini 3 and that lags. That has the last iOS update of 12.5.7 which was released over a yr ago.

Had my iPad mini 6 for 3 weeks I only noticed this MILD jelly scrolling because people kept talking about it. I never notice it otherwise. People will find problems if they obsessively look for them. This iPad is great and I don’t regret buying it.

I have a iPhone 14 pro and came from an older iPad with promotion and definitely noticed this. Considering returning it. Once you have been using 120hz for alng time it’s almost impossible to go back

Still the normal released price. Unless u can find one cheaper, like on sale. Btw, they've only discounted the WiFi model by no more than USD$100. They never discount the cellular model of the mini. Especially the 6.
