Hi Doc, very good video! I have the FRFR 108 and indeed it is a bit boomy/bassy, especially when I did put it on the floor in a small room I am using in my house. The way I solved that problem, is putting an acoustic isolation pad underneath it. There are plenty cheap once out there, I paid about 18 $ for mine. It works find for me, as there is now nearly no sonic transmission through the speaker casing to the floor. Just wanted to leave that comment, as it might help out others. Keep it up - fantastic work! Cheers dIDi

I owned 3 of these from Guitar Center.. 2 used, 1 brand new. All were just super bass heavy and had to cut lows too much the brand new one was the worst one. Sweetwater had one pop up as unsealed for $160. I took a chance and its perfect. Much less bass heavy.. sadly you may have to try a few to get one that doesnt get bass heavy. Not sure why the new one (unsealed discounted) from Sweetwater was the magic one but it was. Using a helix lt.

Hi doc, I have a question: most of my rigs are in stereo because I use to have a pair of studio monitors, and worked perfect. I recently purchased a FRFR108 and I'd like to know if I can connect both of the line outputs of my gigboard to both of the inputs of the FRFR, and connect the output of the FRFR straight into the input of my audio interface (for recording in mono), I supposed the output of the frfr has line level, am I right? This setup is in order to avoid to plug and unplug the cables back and forth from the frfr to the interface every time I want to just play or record my tracks. Thanks in advance and I'm sorry if this was a dumb question
