I just bought the 2024 Mustang GT 5.0 manual 6 speed, with active exhaust. I freaking LOVE this car!

Got mine for $42,000. Black 2024 Mustang GT with 10 speed auto. Wife and I just drove it 2000 miles on a trip from Texas to Alabama and got 25mpg in normal mode. Its my 5th mustang and i loved them all but this one is incredible. Its a BEAST.

Uh the MyFord Touch ambient lighting has been around since 2010 hehe you can change the colors on all Mustang that are Premium package since 2010

I test drove one of these at the dealership the other day that thing is so nice 😩

Fr there was a dealership with my ideal white 6 speed gt, stopped and looked at it. Immediately got back in my car and left after seeing that awful plasma TV cluster

Definitely do it I purchased a 24 gt premium a month ago and don’t regret it at all

Been way too long without a Mustang so going to get back into one, can’t decide between a 67/68, another fox body LX coupe/conv or this 2024. I absolutely love the exterior and interior looks of this over prior model then factor in add a whipple and it’ll be making @high 600 low 700 rwhp! I get many don’t like the electronic interior but as stated i love it and have to say I’m leaning this way, greta job Ford!

I know you mentioned the HP numbers but with the active exhaust it bumps it up to 486HP. The 4 tips on the back which this one has means it has the active exhaust. The single tip means it is the regular exhaust. I know this because a KZreadr who goes by the name of Zander bought a 2024 Mustang recently and he talked about having to switch out the rear valence in order for it to support active exhaust. 😁

I had a 2018 gt and it had the double tips on the rear but it didn't have active exhaust so don't let that fool you you have to check for the switch and the 2024 does not come out with 480 HP from the factory study up on that and you'll find out

Beautiful car! But I miss the outdated but stylish 94-04 dash.

My 2020 gt premium has ambient lighting lol that is certainly not new with the 2024! Still an amazing car and I also love the interior of it

Nice review...but be sure to post the VIN...can't believe how you made some wide open pulls on the throttle...I'm assuming this has less than 50 miles on it...NOT a proper break-in. I have a DH on order and hopefully no one should test drive mine like you did with this one.

It's over 50mi, and I stayed below 4.5k rpm as recommended by experts. Drove it gently out of respect for the future owner.

I got my GT premium 2024 with active exhaust valve, I ordered it and customize my own color, put a 20k DP I paid about 61k dollars San jose california here. ❤ and got 3.9 percent for 5yrears. love it…

2019 gets you the 10-speed automatic, but is a bit more expensive. I think it all comes down to your financial situation. I'd go with the 10-speed if I had the money!

@@Xhixhi21 I think the 2019 looks better, those two heat extractors on the hood, and then slightly slanted headlights make it look quite a bit meaner. But they're so close in design, I wouldn't say it's the deciding factor.

bout to go in debt for this seems legit

i wanted a new mustang gt but this thing is way to ugly to be 50k. The computer tablet dash looks tacky as hell for a 50k vehicle. Im now looking for 2020-2023 mustang gt with low miles or even a c6 or c7 corvette. actually leaning towards c6 for less tech crap and some extra money left for surprise repairs. what a shame.

I think this giant tablets need to be more integrated in the dash. The s550 gen was more esthetic for me. And the engine, well is the same 5.0 but upgrade, the sound is fantastic, but maybe you can buy a gt350 with the cost of this new 5.0

While the new Dodge Charger will be offered as a 2-door like the original generation and a 4-door like the previous generation, It no longer has a supercharged V8 or RWD and is therefore no longer a traditional American muscle car. If you want a supercharged V8 and RWD like a true American muscle car, go for the Ford Mustang GT/Dark Horse and the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing over the 2-door Charger and the 4-door Charger, respectively. The former’s supercharger is an optional dealer-installed accessory and the latter’s supercharger is standard. So true American muscle still does exist. The only downside compared to the previous Charger and Challenger is that the Mustang and CT5 are mid-size so they may not be as spacious but they still perform the way everyone wants and most importantly, they have the engine and drivetrain that everyone is demanding.

Is this car better than a scat pack? For daily driving purposes

Really just depends if you prefer a cruiser or a car that can handle. Scat is only quick in a straight line, but also a better daily and practical with 4 doors. The Mustang can also handle turns well, and has the option of a 6 speed manual, while the Dodge is automatic only. Depends if you are more into the driver experience, or if you just want a comfortable daily.

I wanna buy a new one but hate the inside and outside. Too much tech inside and I don't like the curves of the outside.

That's if you have the active exhaust if you don't have the active exhaust it makes about 408 hp

Not at all. Since it's naturally aspirated it doesn't "punch you" in your seat, but it seriously moves.

It does not make 480 HP it makes 418 HP off the showcase floor from the factory get it right

but why the automatic? (retches) i mean i get that its more convenient but the manual is just so much better, when i think of mustang i think of a manual transmission Edit: I just realized there are paddle shifters which redeems it slightly, actually, now its fine i guess

I would save up and buy a TRX though because it really makes no sense to own a small sports car in the first place

@@VoiceOfModernTruth I owned a 2022 C8 corvette for 8 months and even though I loved the car it just wasnt as comfortable to drive daily as my 2020 mustang GT and the Corsa extreme catback on my 2020 is Much Louder than the Corsa Extreme catback I had on the C8 !!! ;) Just my 2 cents~

I still don't think there's enough to buy one of these for 3-4x an S197 which look better and are still well within reach of equal performance. The S550 is a straight Euro sports car, and the S650 is just an S550 with Camaro styling.

2024 Mustang is absolutely hideous. One of the ugliest designs ever. Looks like an Accord or a Camaro on the front, and the tail lights are awful. S197 and S550 will forever be the best designs.
