Should you buy a victory in 2023

In this video I go over whether you should buy a "discontinued" motorcycle in 2023 and some of my experiences with it thus far.

Should buy a Victory in 2023? Hell yes!! The bang for the buck is incredible. I bought a new 2017 Vegas from a dealer 6 months ago. It was the last one they had. Been riding Vics for 10 years and never needed no steenkeeng parts. But you can get anything for them. No prob..

I just bought a 2015 Victory Vision a month ago. I already put over 4000 miles on the bike. I ride it to work everyday and I"ve already taken 2 cross country trips. The bike runs perfectly. Not one ounce of issues. The previous owner took excellent care of the bike, which makes being the second owner that much more enjoyable.

Very nice bike. I have a 2014 Crossroads and love it. Ridden through 13 states this year with no problems. When I stop at Harley dealers for coffee, I get only welcome looks😊. I don't feel guilty because I do have an XL1200C for local riding.

I had a 2011 Victory Jackpot and had really no trouble with it. I did have an O2 sensor wire break off. So, I took it out and went to Advanced Auto parts. The smart lady behind the counter ran the part number and found out that it is compatible with the same O2 sensor from a small block Chevy from the 80’s. Paid $17 for a new one and the problem was fixed. That was 4 years ago. I ran nothing but Ams Oil in that bike with never an issue. The bike ran cooler and shifted smoother with Ams Oil.

I bought an '07 Victory Jackpot last summer. Glad I did! It is an exceptional motorcycle. I am not worried about it being "discontinued". These are well made and made to last. And If you have a good mechanic and do the recommended preventative maintenance, there should be no problems.

I feel like it's also worth mentioning that Victory was a sub-brand of Polaris. Polaris also owns Indian motorcycles, and some parts are interchangeable with Indian and Polaris... 👍

Picked up a 2010 Crossroads last summer. 18k miles, spotless, for under 5k. I liked it so much that I sold my Roadking a few months later. I've stocked up on some common parts but have had zero issues so far. I wouldn't think twice about doing it again, and I may just do that. I've always wanted a Judge in Orange.

Well given that Victory is going to be selling the limited NOS they have for everything from oil to filters and every other part. To which your mechanic said it was because you needed VICTORY OIL which they don't make oil, it is bottled per formulation by either West Direct or Colorado Petroleum who are the main two in all of Arizona, means more trouble because they aren't gong to order more from the bottlers.

Your awesome videos has been very insightful with helping me to decide whether or not get a Vic HB. I know there are a lot of factors that go into mpg (like how hot a dude is on the throttle etc) but can you tell what your average range in terms of how many miles before refueling. Also, although I could probably learn to live without them I really love the classic look of the whitewall tires. Did you say you had difficulty finding them? Thanks again!

Thanks for the input. Great video and very helpful! Only thing I don't agree with you on is the Harley's. It's true that there is plenty availability in terms of parts and service, put personally I would rather ride a pink moped than own an over-priced, over-branded, and over-hyped bike. And yes I owned a HD before. Currently I have a Triumph T120 and it is far and away the best bike I've owned. Plenty of low down torque, flickability, classic brand with classic good looks...need I say more? lol...I'd love to get a Vic HB to add to my stable at some point... Question for you...what is your experience in terms of lean angle on that model bike? How far can you lean before scraping metal parts?
