New farm, shop build, restore home and add to that farming and contract work, that would test anyone. Your a legend for being open with us, I am sure soon enough things will fall into place and after you’ll stand back and see what you have accomplished. Proper job

Leave off with the hay until later. Numerous barn fires round here last year as people tried to make it early as the weather was there. Also best to go over machines and prep before they are put away. Always manic times in spring and if it's all prepped and good to go it relieves the extra stresses you don't need on top of everything else. Keep up the good work 👍🏼

Best of luck with the loan son! We have had some issues getting a few quid. The problem with this game is that when the sun shines you have that much to do you don’t have time to think and when the rain falls all you can do is worry about how much work you have to do. I would reckon that 80 % of farmers are feeling a bit “iffy “ at the moment as the bills start coming in for April and the work that should have been done for the last six months has to be done in the next few days don’t mind weeks! We only got the last of the spring fertiliser out yesterday and at that I got stuck ( another delay) and I have just finished spraying docks with spray I bought last July, overwhelmed, overworked and under financed the story of Irish farming ( I left out over regulated because that will just push me over the edge into clinical depression). Should be rolling but the diesel tank is dry and so is the tractor so an early night tonight and tomorrow is another day. Regards from Wicklow

Yes, i recall my dad telling me a story about my mums sister’s husband. This would be at the end of the fifties. The story goes that the husband was baling hay and wouldn’t stop for his tea that his wife had brought to the field. She was running alongside the tractor feeding him sandwiches etc. my dad said to me “I don’t which one was more stupid”😊 , i think i knew what he meant.

You and your family have a lot of irons in a lot of fires. Cut back on the social media as you plan to. And make less videos. What you're doing at the moment in it's totality is unsustainable, I think. I also think what other ag. KZreadrs like Tom Pemberton and Olly Blogs are at in terms of the sheer volume of social media, MSM, and videos is not ultimately sustainable. Better role models might be 'IFarmWeFarm' and 'Just a few acres farm' who prioritise quality over quantity.
