@@dinnapadilla ..and don’t forget the State of Victoria. Visited that beautiful place many years ago, but the atmosphere was kind of soulless. Daylesford, Ballarat come to mind and Wicca has been practised in those places often. Such a pity, because our sincere daily prayers could easily “ evaporate” negative vibes which have created the dark souls that are in power today. Let’s pray without ceasing. 🙏❤️

@@epart513 Hi Conce~If you saw the segment on Br Alex, you saw that when he was discerning, he didn’t know what to do, so he googled religious orders and MIC came up first. I am thankful for google because it led Br Alex to the Marians! ✝️🙏✝️

Wow. This episode is so powerful and eye opening.

It’s always sad when something good gets corrupted by the bad. Halloween was just a fun holiday that I didn’t attach anything significant to, though I always disliked the rampant entertainment of horror movies like Chuckie and Freddie Cougar. Just seems so sad to me that people enjoy watching others being tormented, hurt, and grotesquely killed, even if it is fictional. If people would dress up and admire the heroes more than the villains, I would be more sympathetic but I can’t get behind glorifying evil characters by wearing costumes of them. When I did learn the true meaning of Halloween some years ago, something in my mind just clicked and I felt a strange peace. Maybe it was the thought that I find a bright truth nestled in a web of opaque lies or something, I just know I have a better appreciation for the holiday in general. I’ve had several relatives and loved ones who’ve passed away these past few years, some expected and others without warning. I pray for them most nights and keep their little obituary cards in my prayer area so I won’t forget them. 🙏 I’m so glad to hear Zachary gave himself to God and is keeping himself to Mother Mary! It’s a great example of God’s capacity to forgive us should we seek him and accept his will for us. May the demons who tormented him the past be cast out and he have the strength and courage to help others face theirs.

The most important part of all this is going to mass the next day.

It shows how much we are loved so much, what a comfort

Mr. King's experienced with Mama Mary was very touching. Father Chris, tonight my friend and I watched the movie Purgatory and it was an eye opening. I have learned a lot and my friend didn't know about praying the Rosary and dedicating it to the poor souls in Purgatory will help them reach to Heaven. I have mentioned it to her after I saw/heard your talk about the Rosary. Now she believes in it and that she will start praying in honor of Mama Mary and the souls of purgatory and the dearly departed relatives and friends. At the theater there were only nunbers of people stayed I guess because they watched you on EWTN and at the Divine Mercy masses. Again, thank you and please continue your works of Christ.

On the 3rd time my daughter in laws parents scheduled a trip the same week. I hope I will be able to retreat to this beautiful place of Gods Divine Mercy soon. It's really saddening what the secular world does to feasts Look at Christmas for example. St Nicholas is probably weeping that people used him to make a Santa Claus which with Christmas trees is more focused on than He that Christmas is all about. It's even called Xmas now💔💔

Both my parents are gone, and i'm a widow ... not surprising that praying for the souls in purgatory is one of my devotions ... also St.Joseph, the Patron of Happy Death ... and Mama Mary's Holy Rosary. God willing - I would like to establish a non-profit Catholic org "St.Joseph Prayer Centre (For the Holy Souls in Purgatory) - where there will be (almost) non-stop prayers for our departed loved ones ... and other related events - God willing ... thank You Lord.

Now I understand what Halloween really is, thanks for your clear explanation on this topic, Fr. Chris. I’m learning many important spiritual matters from you. Thanks also to Zachary King for sharing his story from satanism to his complete conversion to Jesus’ Divine Mercy and Mother Mary. Yes, Fr. Chris, it’s truly an eye opener for all of us especially now a days, many are trying to get involved in extremely wicked practices making it appear normal and modern. Bro Alex calling to The Marian is very consoling, gives so much hope and light to our chaotic world darkened by sin. I’m praying everyday that there will be more young ones who listens and responds to God’s invitation. From the archives of the Marian and St. Faustina’s, they inspire and intensify my deep longing that someday we will all be united to our Only One , Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. Very touching had me grabbing tissues.We need more people like him & more people opening to Divine Mercy prayer for the living & dying. Dear Cassie, thank you but you mentioned pride in your other post.... you may want to be careful in not being prideful as well. We need to receive Christ in the Eucharist no matter what and not refrain from receiving him because our pride is greater than what is directed by the Church. God bless.

I'm Catholic and I do celebrate Halloween, I've dressed up as Draculaura from Monster High, than Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas than Wednesday from The Addams Family and I wanted to prove that Halloween is not evil since there was someone who's Christian said it is and will go to hell which was where I thought Christians don't do Halloween at all, yet there's people I know who are Christian who do Halloween which confuses me. However it is annoying how commercialized it got, same with Christmas and everything else plus there's no such thing as monsters however there are offensive costumes out there like Hitler, Obsama Bin Laden, Saddam Hussein and KKK. Here we pray in reparation and to protect kids that night. Some do it in Adoration in churches, our Lord exposed, (last year couldn't be done due to restrictions and this year many still prefer not to open the church yet). The praying Vigil will be done privately, and many have fixed schedules so that there will be prayers during the whole night, spiritually united, different parts of the whole country. Some also will ser our public profiles photos that day with images of Mary, specially in her Advocation of the Rosary, or another Saint or biblical quote mentioning Life, Beauty

I AM VINDICATED! When I was a kid in the 60's and early 70's we dressed as our namesake patron Saint (remember the name you give your child is the very first blessing you bestow upon them) or we dressed as our favorite guardian patron Saint. People don't believe it.

Father is Monday ALL SAINTS DAY this year a Holy day of Obligation???
