If the Chargers had MHJ on the board, and traded with the division-rival Broncos (who dont have a 2nd this year) I'd show up outside Joe Hortiz's house. Are you and Booger feeling okay?

All the different guests Mina has had on her podcast have had different viewpoints about so many of the prospects but they all seem to be in agreement that the Jets should take an O-Lineman at 10 over Bowers. Mina and the other "NFL Live" analysts have also said the Jets should take the O-Lineman. But I think RGIII's comment on yesterday's "NFL Live" that Aaron Rogers may want Brock Bowers may play out and the Jets do take Bowers.

Thank you Booger. As an Eagles fan, it might make me physically ill if the Eagles drafted Cooper DeJean over Terrion Arnold. DeJean is a very smart player who wins with anticipation and can outsmart college guys; I don't think that transfers to the NFL very easily. He'll be a versatile nickel or safety, but he won't be a difference maker on defense IMO.

I know the Vikings probably added the extra first round pick to trade up on draft day but if I'm the Vikings I would rather keep my picks and take Penix, preferrably at 23. Penix seems more like a sure thing than Maye, Daniels, and McCarthy or at least a safer pick especially since they can keep their picks. He's ready to play in year one as Mina has said. I know Penix had the injury issues earlier in his college career but I have too many lingering questions about the other 3. Maye's development still has a ways to go, Daniels' situation, as Mina has said, was to just too favorable, and McCarthy has been limited in what he was asked to do at Michigan.

How does Drake Maye go from not ready at #2 to ready at #3? Wouldn’t mini want a more finished product as they are further along than DC, who is at least 2, 3 year away. I know mini doesn’t have their choice of their QB but the logic doesn’t make sense to me.

Coz he wouldn't start right away if he goes to MIN ... it would be his ideal landing spot. But the Giants are at 6 and like him too, so ... idk it's gonna be a crazy draft and a lot of fun.

@@pithello Doesn’t make sense to me either, why would Mini a team that’s essentially missing a QB (they are at least average elsewhere) want a QB to sit? Also Drake was supposed to be a selling point to Jefferson. But back to my original point DC can just sit Drake too it it would make more sense for them to as they are further away from competing

As a Lions supporter, I would be nervous if the Bears got Williams and Odunze.

I wonder why no one is even considering Indy trading up to #5 if MHJ falls. He is the son of a Colt's legend and he is exactly what they need to become an elite offense. Plus, Colts fans would have a parade in downtown Indy if they get him. I understand that trading up to #3 might cost too much, but #5? Surely Ballard would pull the trigger. Besides, I'd imagine the Chargers would rather trade back with Indy than either of their division rivals. (Broncos/Raiders)

Because the draft is loaded with quarterbacks, wide receivers, and tackles, because offense is more important than defense in the NFL, and because there are doubts about both his floor.

I hate this mock for the Patriots. I hate it more that they might just do something like this, but I think more likely is they make the trade, pick Fashanu, then pick Penix at 23. Though they probably aren't doing any of that, and are just going to take JJ McCarthy at 3 like idiots.

All I needed was Jayden to the Commanders. I don’t care what else happens lol

Detroit trading out of this mock disappointed me, imagine the crowd reaction in Detroit if they trade out of 1st round for real.

Brad Holmes has certainly gained a ton of respect here in Detroit, so while I'm sure the locals would be disappointed, I don't doubt his ability to draft and develop players.

The Cardinals or Pats will accept the offer from Denver: 2 first and Patrick Surtain. The Chargers have no interest to help their Division rival finding their QB.
