Should Suns trade Devin Booker, is Anthony Edwards MJ-esque, Lakers-Nuggets | NBA | THE HERD

Спорт

NBA analyst Ric Bucher joins Colin Cowherd to discuss what the Phoenix Suns should do in the offseason, including whether they should consider trading Devin Booker. He then predicts the winner of Game 5 between the Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets, along with whether the LA Clippers or Dallas Mavericks have the edge as they continue their series battle. Bucher then discusses Anthony Edwards' ceiling.

18:36 the pelicans should have listened to this advice before paying zion the max contract. 0 playoff history, always injury prone, doesnt even seem like he wants to be in new orleans, not a team leader, not serious with his career and training to be the best. Zion is a good player, but not great. He's a non reliable good player.

As a suns fan, I thought we’d handle the wolves in 6 games or less. Most Suns fans were overlooking them thinking they would be a cakewalk, then the playoffs started and the wolves played the most dominant form of bully ball I have ever seen. I’ve been a suns fan my whole life and have watched a lot of playoff series dating back to the Steve Nash years, and I’ve never watched a series where the suns were flat out dominated in every game like that from wire to wire. And the last time the suns were swept was the same year the Wolves franchise started (1989) I predict Wolves beat Denver in 6. They will expose those frauds who are FINALLY playing a team who isn’t a play-in tournament seed for the first time since 2022 😂

Them saying Portland tells me they are so out of touch. Saying Portland doesn’t ned their picks is crazy. Building a team naturally is the way to go. Brooklyn gutted their team for Durant and Kyrie and have nothing to show for it. Then phoenix gutted their team and just got D, your team naturally. See okc, see golden state., see Boston’s, see Denver.

Ric Bucher and Colin were both absolutely correct in predicting that Denver will have a stronger sense of urgency and will not come out as slowly as they did in the last 4 games. Denver still looked off in this game 5, but they still took it 4-1.

10:49 do these clowns even watch the games? Denver has been “messing around” with the Lakers? Um, I don’t think so. Murray has been cold the whole series except for one half. KCP isn’t shooting well and Aaron Gordon hasn’t been scoring besides one game. Their bench is almost non-existent and the series could easily be 2-2 right now. It’d be nice if people who get paid to talk about sports actually knew what they were talking about

They forget the bubble year with Rubio they were basically a half game from making the playoffs. The team was on the come up and right there before CP3 and I believe they would have been in the playoffs that next year. Booker is great, the Suns getting rid of Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, and Cameron Payne and others was where they messed up because we need 3 and D players to surround KD and Booker. Get rid of Beal somehow and get some defenders that can knock down open 3's and this team can compete. and a real point guard

The Thunder should trade some of their million first round draft picks to team Devin Booker up with Shai Alexander and Chet Holmgren. They would dominate the league for years to come. Or Booker could go back home to Michigan and play for the Pistons. They have some great young talent that needs that stud to put them over the top. Devin Booker with Cade Cunningham , Ausar Thompson , Jalen Duren , and Jaden Ivey could be nice.
