I can’t remember what game but it was one of the last few when Matthews hit his head on the boards. I bet he has a concussion

It was the penultimate game, against Florida (I think)..... and yeah, I agree - his head hit the boards hard. All in the chase for 70.

We needed Reavo to drop the gloves with Maroon in the first period or McCabe to lay out Marchand anything to shake the team up they were waiting for the Bruins to take the game.
Manoah and Vlad should be sent on a long European vacation for the entire summer.
"What's the 5 on 5 scoring advantage, 7-6 Boston?" Johnny, special teams are a huge part of the game. They just can't be dismissed because the Leafs suck at both. Stop cherry picking stats that make it look less lopsided.
Matthews could have pneumonia and even with medication it can take over a week to get over and at that point you can still be dealing with trouble breathing and no energy at all so not saying that’s what it is but if it’s an illness I’d put my money on that
I have commented on here the entire year that it made no difference what the leafs did in the regular season or if matthews scored 150 goals.... they are Charmin and stood no chance in the playoffs. It was so obvious to anyone who didn't live in Toronto. Can't wait for the show the day after they get bounced. Rerun!!

The fact that they are even talking about one player being the blame. Didn't they blame Marner last year also?! This team is full of excuses. What is crazy is the president was an amazing playoff player and yet he has accepted this team to be Charmin in the playoffs since he has been there. WTF is he thinking.
