It ain’t always about the killin’! I’ve been down in Georgia this week hunting. Haven’t got one. Had some good hunts. Public down here is crazy pressured. Only had 2 gobblers play the game. Someone 100 yards away killed the first one out from under us. Never knew they were there till they shot. I called him right into their lap. That’s public land for you.

You are exactly right. Its about the hunt, not the kill. I feel your pain on the public land issues. I have had something similar happen to me on a deer hunt. Good luck to you this season my friend.

Patience will pay off. Hunting is too much fun to end it so quickly.

True very true. It’s not always about the kill. The hornet getting there is more what it’s all about.
