Again, I'm not saying Samson Dauda didn't deserve to win the Arnold. I am neither saying that having the best flow shouldn't be the main criteria. All I'm saying is that judges are not consistent with that. If having the better flow is the criteria, 2 months ago at the Olympia Samson should have beaten Ramy and Derek should have beaten Hadi. But clearly it's not about that, it is about judges doing what they want, not being transparent with the criterias and then come up with different explanations after every show, confusing fans and competitors alike.

Uhh, you are saying it, and repeatedly. I think Dauda beat Ramy. Upon seeing further footage though, I must say they must be blind though. Andrew Jacked looked ridiculous. He should’ve won it hands down. I haven’t seen a bodybuilder built the same since Flex Wheeler, who I might add should’ve beaten Ronnie Coleman back in the day, if anyone ever paid attention to symmetry

Imo, Big Ramy won the entire show. He was better than everyone on the finals comparisons - every pose. You can rewatch the stream. It's pretty apparent that the judges didn't give him the deserved chance to be compared with everyone or to stand on center at least once.

Ifbb need to set standards of what they are looking for, their judging standards seems to change from show to show. Ramy overlooked is a fact, no way should he be moved out instantly not even compared 1s my pose. He was looking absolutely amazing at Ac. Combined with the fact they crop out ramy in a picture they posted I think ifbb just don’t want ramy in the mix anymore which I think is pretty low blow just because he didn’t do the guest posing!

Samsun lacks both size & biceps bellies ! .. Big Ramy is getting blatantly robbed .. Nick Walker is asymmetrical lacking front lats (the worst FLS in BB history) with very small legs (thin quads) .. his left arm is way bigger than his right arm !! .. in addition to his concaved, blocky waist ! .... Samson has no biceps with average muscle size ! .. so the judges wanna tell us that the lower back is more important than the arms even with BIG RAMY's outstanding upper back, super RLS, outstanding quads, outstanding side poses, outstanding FLS & delts etc !! .. Ramy's Flaws: No lower lats -> Jay Cutler also had them and he still won several Olympias. Deteriorated triceps -> Shawn Rhoden (may he RIP) also won the Olympia with deteriorated triceps. They need to start quantifying their judging system properly, like what Tomn8tor said.

This Arnold was probably the best show I’ve seen given the top 7 all turned up on-point. Even Akim was his second best ever for conditioning. Ramy on his way to being fixed. Andrew smaller but ripped and Nick Mr Conditioning. Samson was holding some water but more shredded than at the O and so aesthetic.

@@sanjuro1180 I like Supersetman because his video's had originality, so that's why I clicked. But the last 3 out of 4 video's have been about Big Ramy's "Robbery", which is getting boring. And I actually agree with his point that the judging criteria need to be made transparent, less arbitrary and less "depending on the judge".

Do you guys really think the dents on his quads were muscle regrowth? They got filled out from night to day? To me that doesn't add up... His imbalance between upper and lower body continues being a major disadvantage for Ramy (always has been), despite being the largest athlete by miles... The imbalance is especially visible with very little triceps mass now and simply MASSIVE shoulders. while quads being bigger than horse legs. His lower back is still missing and it is not coming back, his waist is much thicker too despite them being about the same height (check front double and you'll notice). The weird "bubble" on his right upper glute too suggests an inflammation (even though so many athletes are showing that recently, but Samson didn't). That's how I think judges saw at least *shrugs*. His size has always been his main strength, we all know he's much larger and wider than everyone else on stage, and no one will ever be as big as him (he's much larger than people much taller than him! That's so impressive). His conditioning was amazing, and his strong shots are still strong: the side chest, front and back lat spread, side tricep used to be but the downsized tricep is such an eyesore to me... I love Ramy as a bodybuilder and as a person, he definitely improved a lot from the Olympia especially mobility and posing/angles, however the judges are giving a clear message to some competitors that they want new(er) talent (not necessarily age-wise) to be representing bodybuilding. Roelly, Maxx Charles, Justin Rodrigues, Akim, Ramy, Bonac and I would say even Brandon Curry... Check their placings, they're falling, whereas Nick, Hadi, Samson, Derek etc are booming up. I agree with how the judges are so inconsistent though, the standards are never solidified and we as fans seem lost as to how the judging works since different things are prioritised at different shows... However, it's a fluid and subjective sport, how do you make subjectivity consistent? Bodybuilding really is unique...

Ramy was warned numerous times to fix his seo problem in his delts and quads. So he either ignored the judges advice or was just physically unable to fix it. This has happened to many top bodybuilders the judges will let it slide until the Internet bodybuilding community starts posting about it.

Big Ramy wins all the poses against Samson. This is not even a close comparison, tbh.

I'm more for aesthetics and quite honestly I was satisfied with the AC results but after looking at comparision b/w jacked and Ramy and Samson and Ramy I do believe they did him dirty

All the photographers are governed by NPC. JM Manion, son of Jim, runs the NPC photography. It's not far-fetched to put 1:1 that the word has gone out on who they want to focus on and who they shouldn't.

Great video, I would agree with your opinion, Ramy imo should have been top 3 comparison. His Arnold side chest will be a standard to beat for a while, it's quite impressive. Samson looked very good, too.. Hope at 23 O Samson, Jacked, Ramy and Walker all come in in good shape. With Hadi and Derrick, it could be one of the best ever imo.

You always say "this is bodybuilding" - but bodybuilding is not simply about being bigger - otherwise you could just measure girth of the arms, waist, etc. In my opinion Ramy lost (and he actually did lose) because his legs are too big from the front and the back, his waist is too wide and especially his hips are way too wide from behind. His upper body is too small, nothing really fits together in the back poses. So in my opinion he loses both back poses. He MAY win the front lat, he wins the side chest (though lacking any aesthetics) - and that's it! Samson wins 6:2 because he is way more aesthetic. In my opinion OF COURSE symmetry and aesthetics matter - and must be taken into account as part of the overall rating. Samson had no dominant win at the Arnold classis '23, but all in all he was the best.

I was at the arnold both pre judging and finals. He deserved 3rd at most. Ramy is winning most poses sure but this is the exact same thing as shawn and phil. Phil won most poses yet lost, why? Winning every pose doesnt mean winning the show. Its about the overall package. Samson all though less conditioned has 0 bad bodyparts. He has triceps and biceps, good forearms, a good enough back, great legs, great midsection and great calves. Ramy has half a back, no triceps, lumpy unseperated quads, no striations in his chest, weak forearms and no calves.

And inbetween poses. They say it’s not judged but it definitely is and it should be judged. If you look great in a pose and then pregnant transitioning into another pose it should be counted against you. That’s why ramy and Nick didn’t beat Samson. Samson had a little distention but Nick and Ramy looked very bad in transition

The seo in ramys delts and quads has become far to noticeable and he's been warned by the judges about it. The judges are letting hadi slide for the moment but if he doesn't fix the seo in his delts he'll with ramy missing first call out

Interesting comparison, but two problems. Shows are not judged by who wins the most poses. Plus, this is just video footage. Folks who were there had Samson in the lead from prejudging.

The glutes are a terrible method of judging condition. Samson genetically doesn’t have striated glutes but he’s clearly in better shape than water buffalo Ramy.

Many people beat Samson pose by pose but still won...it's not about big Ramy,even Nick walker won many poses but lost the show

While I agree judging can be inconsistent. The judges are clearly pushing symmetry proportions and separation more into open bodybuilding they clearly want classic flow included with the mass.

what about the symmetry round? you only compare the mandatory round but before that there is a symmetry round where the judges look at the competitor's symmetry and proportions while asking them to do the quarter turns, that's were Big Rammy loses ground because his proportions are all over the place. I personally really like the direction bodybuilding is heading in right now

I think Andrew is the future. I just don't think he's there yet. He needs a lot more size and fullness in his bus, tris and forearms for that FDB to look perfect. He also needs to stop twisting it. I know he thinks it looks sexy and sets him apart, but it's hard to judge symmetry when you're throwing off your own balance.

Samon triceps looks injected swollen no definition Plus samon bicep has short tendon which makes it look fuller but look at rami bicep peak man cuz it has bigger tendon which makes arms look smaller. For me its ramy win. Atlas its just my opinion, keep smiling stay blessed ✌️

It’s actually pathetic what the judges have come to doing. Massive rip off for poor Ramy. The arms can’t be such a big deal, surely, Look at what C Bum gets away with.

Look at the poses, which Samson wins? It's like a classic competitor vs bodybuilder.. If they want the most aesthetic winner, then Andrew should win.. If they want most muscle with condition and decent structure Ramy should win and Nick 2. I like Samson, but like you said the judging is all over the place..
