15:16 I’m personally more for the 18 team league. I’ve voiced it via vids etc previously. That it wouldn’t maybe be great to begin with as the championship clubs moving up you see even the difference with someone like a Dundee who are a bit of a yo-yo club… but, I believe going down the Bundesliga model would help the long run of the Scottish game with a restructuring of other league which in my case would increase SPFL members from 42 across the 4 leagues to 50! With a change also to the promotion from the 5th tier.

Thanks Kevin. Very interesting. Is there not a danger of some of the clubs being a bit weak with poor stadia etc? Or do you think these would improve over time?

@@ImprovingScottishFootball Worry would be for stadiums like QP have at lesser hampden but bar them I wouldn’t say the stadiums of the upper championship are too much of a downgrade on the likes of a livi etc like Partick have been in the premiership fairly recently

27:23 the Scottish super cup I would be in favour of IF a restructuring to the league happened. As it could be useful if Sky want to keep as many Celtic v rangers derby matches possible to have that as it means 3 minimum would still realistically happen so sky would only be losing 1 match.

Another good interview. The league structure right now does NOT guarantee 4 OF games, it only guarantees 3. So it makes me wonder if the TV deals stipulate it has to be 4 games, if so, this means the league will manaufature that outcome if needs be. A 16 team league with a Belgian style play-off after 30 games would be my preference. All teams split into group of 4 and play another 6 games for a total of 36 games. This eases the fixture congestion we currently see. 1st-4th play for title and Champs league places, 5th- 8th for Europa places, 9th-12th for Conference and then Bottom 4 fight it out to avoid 2 Automatic relegation spots. I would use the English style play-off system also. So in champ for instance, have 2nd play 5th and 3rd play 4th in a 2 leg semi, then the winners play a 1 off final at a neutral venue. Make it a bigger cup final occasion. No more help for the 2nd worst team in the league above. Allow alcohol back in games in plastic cups and sanctions to be tougher for those who break the rules. I would say a lifetime ban if you abuse other supporters and clubs staff. The supporters groups to step up and marshall their fellow fans. Keep up the good work guys👍
