@@csempe6608you can tell he’s having fun, when he says “tremble!” i think i honestly just hear a proud, loud smirk on his face, which instead of hearing anger, you kind of hear him being “gentle.” how i see it, it’s not because he’s trying to be strong anymore, it’s because he’s having fun with his superiority.

I love all of Scara’s voice actors. Each of them have such a pretty yet intimidating voice, and they all bring an individual strength to the table. English: best at performing his pain and heartbreak (just listen to those defeat lines, my god) Japanese: best at performing his rage and madness (my personal favorite is Raidens defeat in the second phase, it’s so good!) Chinese: best at performing his pride and sadistic nature (love the heavenly bombardment line) Korean: best at performing his desperation yet also his elegance (love the opening lines for both phases) And these are just their strengths, they all perform Scara’s character incredibly!

unrelated to the voicelines, but your iframing is really good when you're not shielded :0

I’m pretty sure it’s like raiden shogun’s insta kill, even if shielded will still die. Unless have that constellation to return hp based on dmg the shield took

It is supposed to be played when a character dies, and Beelzebul’s line plays when there’s Raiden shogun in the team.. So there is no perfect timing for that, it’s Intended

Alright ya'll, he's honestly now my favorite boss fight. Some attacks are so pretty like Heavenly Bombardment, that is beautiful, I love galaxy-ey things sm, ong. But I hate his oneshot attack, I just learned how to deactivate it like a few weeks ago and it makes it all much easier but I still get very stressed because of those loud ass sounds in the background.

Reality is pain. Absolutely 💯

The "I can't lose it all again" and "I was destined for more" hurts so much still. To think that he was made solely for the gnosis only to have been discarded(Ik there are more sides to the story, but this is Scara's pov and it _is_ essentially what happened), and he had spent his entire life searching for his heart ever since, he had tried to become human, he had loved and lost(was broken and was never repaired), he had subjected himself to being an object of experimentation to gain power, he had murdered and wronged(took and broke), had tried to becoming a god, and when finally, _finally_ he thought he had achieved his life's purpose through eons of aimlessness and suffering, he had lost all of it in a flash of light, in an instant of his delusions shattering, and to think that he had been destined for so much yet had only ever ended up in the gallows, constantly reaching out for a hand--a purpose--only to find nothing.

Let's go, and take a moment of silence for all the characters fallen, when we first encountered the "balladeers command"

These are my exact same favs

my fav lines (and why): 0:29 - “Perish!” i just like the way he crosses his arms, plus his voice is awesome here. 0:55 - “Insignificant pest!” he calls you a pest, quite literally directed to his hate for insects and literal pests. it’s a good insult, and also very funny to me 😭 1:05 - “Heh.” IT BRINGS A SMILE TO MY FACE HONESTLY IDK WHYYY something about the “Heh” does wonders to my ears, and the swipe makes me genuinely intrigued. it’s a shame he only does it occasionally. 2:06 - “My body… it’s… ugh…” it hurts me to hear for some reason, but the frustration and pain there is to hear is such a blessing. conveying emotions the way Patrick did honestly makes me so happy, because i get to understand how much pain is really happening to Scaramouche, but it still kinda hurts. today is the first day i heard this and honestly i came here just to hear that again 😭 2:22 - “You cannot defy me, mortal!” no comment i really like it for no reason 😭 i also like the way he just “stuns” you but doesn’t do any damage (from how i see it) 2:36 - “Worthless insect..” another insult to add to my list of funny things ever. hearing this honestly makes me pissed when fighting him but it’s funny aswell. 3:52 - … THE GROWL AT THE END TICKLES MY BRAIN SO BADDD AGHH 😭😭 i love hearing it so much it’s so satisfying in a way 4:06 - “Kneel!” no comment i just like it 4:37 - “Tremble!” someone said he sounded kind of gentle here. while i agree it sounds gentle i wouldn’t say it is, but i’d say he’s having fun. like he genuinely enjoys doing what he is doing for the sake of becoming a god. i think here, he simply loves having the upper hand and his superiority, which is what shows here the most besides the majority of his voice lines. 4:43 - “You filth!” it’s funny to me. he thinks he’s got you all figured out, but when he sees you’re behind him, he gets bitter and tries to overstep your authority against him. “You filth!” is simply just a way to show that instead of sulking, he chooses to gain authority again and put you down. 4:54 - “Reality… is pain!” i’ve talked about this before, how well he depicts progression towards life as Kabukimono to Scaramouche. after 3 betrayals, despite not knowing the being of reality’s harsh truth as Kabukimono, he comes to a final conclusion as Kunikuzushi that reality is not a fate waiting for you, but a coveted set of anguish and pain. he has stayed stubborn to this for the longest, and expressing it this way as Shouki no Kami is amazing to hear. 5:20 - “Good riddance, cruel world.” explaination is similar to the other one above! (+, i really love the sound effects that represent Shouki no Kami’s Setsuna Shoumetsu. it’s so nice to hear.) 6:46 - “I can’t.. lose it all again…” this one really just hurts to hear. same for “I was.. destined for more…” OKAY THATS IT WEEE
