The opera kind-of vocals are interesting too since the only other time we hear anything like it is with Yunjjn (and even then it’s totally different) Opera can sound very heavy because of the chords and I think it’s PERFECT for the type of atmosphere a lot of the harbingers exude.

Nothing related but Scara's name in his Boss Fight, "Shouki no Kami" means "God of Sanity" and "Sanity" means something similar to mental health or someones behavior. So Scara is the "God of Mental Health"

Grinding for Scara talent level up materials feels satisfying just because i can listen to this 🔥

I never thought I’d be too into opera music or vocals at least since I don’t usually like how they sound (not that I think it’s weird, just makes my ears feel weird sometimes. People who can do it get all my respect because it’s hard to pull it off) but after a few videos of people performing opera and some Genshin soundtracks, it’s starting to grow on me. Also glad to listen to this here because usually I’m panicking at the end to try to get my rotations off, so I’m not listening to the soundtrack.

Gameplay generally, other sounds and basically everything else also distract you from the game ost. I pretty oftenly mention that developers don't give a damn on games ost and especially boss themes, not caring how it'd be supposed to actually feel like and not trying to make ost more fitting with gameplay along. Even Metal Gear Rising, though it has a lot of vocal moments starting at some qta or something, still pretty oftenly screws up some other songs moments. Hot wind blowing turned out to be a full joke because of that, very sadly.

4:50 the introduction to phase 2 remind me a lot of dancing mad from final fantasy 6

Honestly, I'm a bit disappointed that I didn't do Archon quest sooner because I missed out on such an absolute banger! But I'm also proud I avoided spoilers for a whole year 😌😌When I did his battle I was dying a lot because I could not focus on what was happening because the music was sooooooooo good 😩Yu Peng Cheng did right with Scaramouche, sad to see him go 😔

In the begin of the Game(beta-1.3 example) it was a copie but with the evolution of GI is kinda different to BOTW today. Today the only thing that are the same are the base mechanics but nothing more.

Since 正機 = "shouki" and 神 = "kami," Scara must be a god (神) of whatever 正機 means. After looking into it, I found that Scara's title is an allusion to the phrase 悪人正機 (akunin shouki) in Japanese Pure Land Buddhism. Just to give background for everyone, there is a religious tradition where people seek to be reborn in a Buddha's sphere of influence (their "pure land") and be guided toward Buddhahood. In this tradition, Amitabha is the most important of the Buddhas and has vowed to save those who seek rebirth in his pure land. However, this vow comes with the insight that, to be saved, people must recognize they are evil. After all, there's no point in being saved if you are already a good person. Amitabha's vow to save evil people is therefore known as 悪人正機 (akunin shouki), with the first word 悪人 (akunin) meaning "evil person." Unfortunately, the meaning of "shouki" remains hard to interpret because it is not a common Japanese word. Literally translated, 正機 (shouki) means "right/just opportunity." I think the Genshin developers wanted players to recognize "shouki" as a reference to "akunin shouki" and connect Amitabha's salvation of evil people with Scara's own salvation. We see Scara get discarded from his original purpose, become an evil god, and be redeemed as a result of his journey. That narrative is very much like the path to rebirth that Pure Land Buddhism describes.

Seeing how its conbined latin and japanese, does Teyvat speak in a mix of Latin and whatever local dialect there is in form of another language? Mondstadt being German, Liyue being Chinese/Mandarin, Inazuma being Japanese, Sumeru being ???, Fontaine being French, Pyroland being ??? (English maybe? Spanish? Swaheli?), Sneznaya being Russian/Ukranian/Polish, Celestia likely being Pure Latin or maybe even Greek (or Hebrew?). Kaenri'ah being Germanic (German again? Or maybe Norwegain or Swedish? Unfortunately, those are wrong Probably the one who "wrote" those didn't quite listened to it properly Proof? First verse of phase one more clearly spells "Domina, Praeteritae" And first verse of phase 2 ends with "coelica"

Zhongli and Fischl are really great for this boss. Zhongli's shield will do all the job (try to dodge tho, don't press your luck) and if you place Oz correctly, you will have constant damage on him, especially in first phase. With those two characters I beat him first try and in 8 minutes more or less. Good luck ! ♥️
