as well as your comment that his shoulders are not square at the power position, I would have expected 1) more over the toe & more "ramp" over left leg at the release phase, which may explain why trajectory was flater than one would expect remembering he is ~2.10m ( 6'10")

Hey throws coach I love this analysation of the glide, but im a begginer and would love to work up to this. What techneique should I try using?

Hi Coach, I also posted my question on your video analysis of David Storl. Here's something that I've never found to be explained fully. Most top athletes like Michelle Carter and most coaches (probably) say that the POWER comes from the legs. WHERE? WHICH LEG? Logically (to me) the RIGHT LEG would be pushing the right side of the body around and UP to add acceleration and power to the RIGHT ARM as it launches the shot. But, when looking at Storl and other champions like Majewski, the right leg is always bent as if there has been no push-off against the ground. The right foot is up on the toe and barely touching the ground. So, where is the "leg power" coming from? SOMETHING is lifting the putters body up off the ground so they can switch feet. Is that from straightening the LEFT LEG? Does the left leg have to be straight so you can "hinge" around the left side as you launch the shot?
