Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Expected to run at just a few minutes in length, The Wingman shot by Oscar and BAFTA winner James Friend (All Quiet on the Western Front, The Acolyte and Patrick Melrose) follows a pilot arriving at an airfield and taking his vintage aircraft for a spin. Tipping the hat to one of the VENICE’s most high-profile productions, Top Gun: Maverick, The Wingman is a showcase for the newest camera in Sony’s Cinema Line, the BURANO.
The BURANO is the latest addition to the prestigious CineAlta line up of cameras. It features incredible image quality combined with the mobility and flexibility of a smaller camera.

old fashion way the best ;)
Stunningly shot, beautifully filmed. My dad was a Lancaster pilot and would have loved this.
Beautiful film. The subject and the visuals tell the story, no spoken words needed.
Couldn't be filmed or look any better than this. Sheesh! Beyond fantastic.
This is the best Burano footage yet. Look totally cinematic.
Crazy visuals ❤ those entry shots at 1:55 and 3:56 pure art frames 👍🏻
if this was shot on a blackmagic, red or any other camera, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. It's' the filmmaker not the gear people.
This is captivating, beautiful art of man, machine, element, soundwaves. All your work is incredible…
Wonderful! Those air to air shots/renders were just superb!
That film score is amazing.
Looks amazing! Love how it is so detailed without feeling clinical. Makes me want to rent one out now haha
Wonderful job by everyone involved in this project. This is truly inspirational. 👏

Not a word said, not a word needed. I really enjoyed this.
Incredible work
Absolutely Amazing 😍
Beautiful!

Beautiful! Reminds me of the 1981 film Man in the Sky with David Perrin.
主翼視点とかコックピット視点みたいなアクションカム的フレームはどうやってBURANOで撮ったんだ...すごい...
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!

Wowww just Fantastic Film !!!!!!
Awesome Paul Bonhomme's piloting! 3times Red Bull Air Race world champion!!🙌
WOW!
Epic !!👍✈️
Exquisite!!!.......
Wow, that was gorgeous!
Really cool flight. the dream.
Great shots. This reel is better than the entire Mighty Eighth series - because this is REAL.
awesome
This was breath taking! These shots are masterpieces. Well done to all the crew. Now gives us BTS so I can do the same with my FX3 hahahaha ❤️
Excellent. Looks incredible. Sounds incredible. An not having a bunch of explosions and machine-gun fire makes it unique in a very positive way.
How did you make those terrific shots!!? All of them are impeccable. Is that a Yak-50 airplane?
great one
Paul Bonhomme obviously bored with the lack of air races.
Very Nice !!
Good job.
Great ! ❤😊
Nicely done!! If only you could have used a Spitfire 😊

Lol, seriously… especially after seeing the Jag, I for one was at least sort of half expecting to see a Spit, and was a bit disappointed to see the Yak
I suspect not all of that audio is from this aircraft. Me thinks I hear a Rolls Royce Merlin in some of those fly pasts.

Agree. That is definitely not the AI-14 sound.
Gorgeous! I could hear some Rolls-Royce Merlin sound clips in there as well. 😁
2:17 - 2:32 pure goosebumps
Bet we'll be seeing this one in electronics stores to showcase their TVs
*** The plane-mounted shots are shot on the Venice 2 *** That said, the footage is gorgeous, just wanted to say a little more transparency would be appreciated, Sony.
Wow
Amazing shot when he went up to the sun and then took a dive.
Irresistably Charming.

Thank you so much for this. I was debating calling a CGI foul - I've never seen a type with landing gear that folds w/o at least partially fitting into the fuselage or wing of the aircraft.

@@gonebabygone4116 Hey mate. I helped design the flight sequence and edited this together. Glad you found your answer :) We had about 2 weeks to do the whole thing from start to finish. Zero budget or time for CG.

Its not an oxygen mask. It contains his mic. A helmet and mask keep everything nicely in place when pulling G.

All that hype and excitement over......a Yak trainer??
The credits describe everything (even the model of drones used) but NOT the actual airplane make and model. It's a Yak.
Is it Yak-50?

Looks great. Good addition to the Sony family. Great cinematography. If of interest for cinematography/ aviation enthusiasts I shot most of this Spitfire documentary mostly on Sony FS5 in 2019 with some on Arri and go pro. Music video for the doc here with lots of beautiful Spitfire shots in it: kzread.info/dash/bejne/d5eL0LWsfbyfYM4.html

This movie should be named “Pollution”
Soviet plane, bot commented.
Seems like the post production fucked it up. It looks if they throw some free LUTs on it without any adjustments.

Yeah, colors look awful on my iPad Pro 12,9 and you can’t get many screens better than that. Very sad, because the shots are absolutely mesmerizing. It also feels a bit dirty in its colors, I wish it would’ve been a little less green, less contrasting and overally blown out..

lmao bro what. As soon as you get into remotely good cameras, even bottom of the line mirrorless, that's all up to how you edit. Don't blame the camera for a poor colour grade.@@RemmyMusic1

I actually like the colors and contrast personally. I’d prefer different varieties in looks for different projects but to see it do this without the image falling apart to me seems good.
I'm very sorry to say this, but this video is not the super high quality product I was expecting. The colors don't match in many shots, the sound is suuper fake (2:55)and some camera movements look like an amateur hacked something together to make them happen (4:03). Overall not impressed at all. This project had so much potential, but the video doesn't live up to the standard of these aviators.
As a pilot and a photographer, these sort of videos always annoy me greatly with their aviation inaccuracy. Why is the pilot wearing an oxygen mask when clearly he's flying at low altitude. Some producer must have thought this made it look "cool" - but it only ruins the credibility for anybody with some aviation background.
@simonpeart7981

It’s not just an oxygen mask, it’s a radio. He might have secured the oxygen mask as well because it was more comfortable to have it on then hanging from the side. I think this was pilots choice and not producer

@mattek7841

Firstly, his oxygen hose is not even there, so obviously he is using the mask for comms only. Secondly, coming from an Air Force pilot (not U.S.) I always wear a mask regardless of the altitude I am flying at. Apart from the fact that it is in accordance with the airplane manufacturer's instructions and my AF regulations, it makes sense as well. An example: how fast will an adult person use all the oxygen in the cockpit (non-pressurised and air-tight cabin) while doing aerobatics of 4-ship formation flying?

Seems to me you don’t know as much about aviation as you think you do. Vatsim doesn’t count.

Its not for oxygen, it contains his mic. Why would he have it loose and flapping about whilst doing aeros?
Zzzzz
Good use of the tech, but there was no plot, other than “Jag driver taking his Chinese trainer up for a fly and burning a lot of Corvus oil.”

Chinese trainer!!! SMH. That's not a Nanchang cj-6 it's a Yak-50 (Russian trainer). And that's the legendary Paul Bonhomme at the controls.

I always get these commie trainers mixed up: do you mean a Як-50 ? Does Paul have short legs (Як-50 cockpits are not very roomy) and what legends are being told about him? Maybe you could make your own KZread video about him and his legends...I'll watch it!

@flyswryan By legendary I'm referring to his career as a redbull air race pilot (statistically he was the best). And yes a Yak-50

Oh, that Paul Bonhomme! Yes, he's good, but being from New Hampshire, I have to root for Mike Goulian...and we don't have any legends about him, nor can we get there from here.

Who would burn so much smoke oil when nobody is watching, the stuff is expensive
terrible color and dynamic range maintained, why the blacks are clipped ?
Terrible sound design.
Boring. I've definitely seen more spectacular clips.
