This is incredible. I live in CO and we have some crystal clear water, but it looks like OR has us beat. I have never fished in the NW, but I clearly need to-Looks gorgeous. Such a simple video, but really incredible. Also quite hilarious. I always pictured when I was pulling a fish out of a hole that the other fish around would be freaking out, but I guess they just chill and wait for their friend to get released so they can bust their balls. Who knew?

Great fish and thanks for letting us see what they do to throw the hook. But I'm curious on how you mounted or stablized the GoPro? I tried doing a similar shot this past weekend on Clear Creek west of Denver in a hole filled with brookies. Put the camera on the end of a mono pod - with a moderate current the results were pretty shakey. I was thinking of drilling an anchor bolt into a concrete block. What did you use?

Looking at the water, the snags, the gravel, the plants and the fish, this had to be Fall River downstream of the hatchery. There are a number of rivers that look the same, but their fish don't look like these. Hope you didn't get too cold in that river of ice! Great vid!
