I have short stature 5’ due to hypothyroidism not being treated as a child.. I clearly had an elevated TSH so there was no excuse for them not to treat me 😠 The endo also said my growth hormone levels were low but after exercise the levels increased so he said all was normal with that 🤷‍♀️ I fell below my parents mid parental height range.. I always wondered why I wasn’t attractive like the other girls in school and I also had delayed puberty.. Thanks for making this video.. Hopefully there are more docs out there like you who will properly assess and treat children for conditions so they’ll develop normally.. Too late for me though ~Sigh~

Rapper Machine Gun Kelly was on the 50th percentile for height when he was a child in elementary and middle school. Rapper Machine Gun Kelly had a huge growth spurt when he was a teenager in high school. Rapper Machine Gun Kelly is now on the 98th percentile for height for an adult man. Is it unusual that rapper Machine Gun Kelly went from the 50th percentile for height to the 98th percentile for height?

I wish when you put out a video like this you are now comprehensive instead of the obvious information. There are two other conditions ISS and SGA. ISS means doctors don't know why a child is short. SGA late diagnosis essentially gifts the parent life of guilt, that answer was out there and I couldn't find it

Hello, I am 14 and 7 months old, my height is 153 and I had my period at the age of 12 and 6 months. My mother's height is about 160, and my father is taller than her. Is there hope for a few centimeters, especially since I have been suffering from depression for years, and of course I do not eat well I sleep three hours in the morning and don't get exposed to the sun for days, sometimes for weeks, and of course I don't do any sports There is a possibility of digestive problems, I think my body suffers

Yes u can still gain a few centimeters, but first u shud tell ur complete history then it can be discussed that how much u can gain during the upcoming years...and ya don't get depressed, just do a checkup with a pediatrician or tell ur history...

My dad was 5’ 4”, my mother 5’ 2”, and I’m the runt at 4’9”! I had leg aches as a child and it was diagnosed as “growing pains”. I don’t think so! I was smaller than all my peers my whole life. I wonder if Scarlet Fever and constant step until I was in my 20’, had anything to do with it. Also, our mother fed us Pet Milk and water as formula, as did all the moms around us in the 1950’s. I’m proportionate, but it’s horrible being puny!

It sounds like you've had a unique journey and have experienced challenges related to your height. "Growing pains" can sometimes be a way to describe unexplained discomfort during childhood growth spurts, but it's essential to consider all factors that might have influenced your growth. Factors like childhood illnesses, nutrition, and genetics can play a role in a person's height. Being proportionate is important for overall health, but I understand that feeling shorter than your peers can be challenging. Remember that your worth isn't determined by your height, and there are many ways to thrive and lead a fulfilling life.

That is why God said that there is another life after death that compensates those who were patient in the first life... God said [and give good tidings to those who are patient]... that the real injustice is the lack of another life to compensate us for this short life full of pain.
