Great job keeping a straight face delivering the intro. Im checking out the link, it looks like a quality product at a good price. Having multiple lengths of shifters would be great for swaping between different cars.

Well done, the shorter mast makes you change gears faster, a year ago I changed the height of the knob and I made myself a magnetic plate to put and remove quickly from sequential to manual, only 10 seconds, with a few rails of less extension, and then I put magnets inside for detection, the SHH shifter went up to another level ...

Karl, you channel is honestly amazing! It's so fun to watch you show and talk about stuff. I just subscribed, and I'm shocked you have "only" 24k! You definitely deserve many more subs, and I'm sure you will get there :) thanks for the awesome vids!!

just to add, the hole at the bottom of the long shaft is probably why it bent in the first place. nice detail to add to the new one, thanks for sharing

put an old rag over the thread, so it covers your fanatec gearbox face to prevent the scratch

Great stuff anyways KD, had nice marathon catch up ydy of your vlogs can't wait to see what else you got coming up

I received my short shaft today (they were out of stock for a while) and fitting was a breeze. I think Fanatec made a revision on the original long shaft because mine (#SQ20001300) had the hole (where the allen-key is inserted to unscrew) at the top and not at the bottom where yours is. This prevents bending of the long shaft.

Bit of black heatshrink around the shaft and it's the correct colour and also dampens the sound a bit.

Good vid! Are there any other equal mods on the market? Cause the Ebay ad is dead atm.

I’d love to get a feel for Kevin’s shaft. Does anyone make a shaft with a different shift knob thread? The knob options are really limited and I like to have a variety of knobs you grab… gears in.

Wish they would sell 2 different sizes, this one looks slightly too short, maybe something in the middle would've been perfect.

How can one in the United States get a hold of one? UK EBay shows the site is closed. Any help in getting one would be highly appreciated.

I am looking for one also Please let me know if there are any to be found in USA... Mine is striped out, Ordered helicoil kit but I would still like the shorter shifter HELP!

If possible would you be able to tell me if the short shaft screws on top of the original shaft. I'm wanting to extend the shaft for Sequential mode. Thanks
