This is a great singles or couples TT that is nice, small, great features at a good price. And I really like the tandem axles.

We down sized in October 2023 from a class A to this 2024 trailer and love it. Perfect for us 2 since kids are grown and no longer come camping. Ours did come with optional gas electric refrigerator which I actually love for boondocking and that’s all we have ever had in past coaches. Build quality is great on ours and fit and finish. This thing tows like a dream since it is light weight .

I’ve had my for two weeks. I was able to use it the last 4 nights. I wanted to use it the first week but the fridge was not mounted properly and fell against the cabinets across from it. Not a good start. So the trailer sat at the dealership until they could install the missing screws that go through the sides of the fridge into the wood. What I like about it so far, has been how dark it stays inside if you like to sleep in. My last trailer didn’t have the dark glass on the windows. I also got the vent pillows that stuff into the bathroom skylight and the vent above near the bottom of the bed. I felt very comfortable sleeping in after a late night of star gazing. I’m glad the video mentioned 2 things. 1 - that you shouldn’t sit on the slide out when in. I didn’t remember that. 2 - not to cook with the griddle sitting on the shelf that sits on the side bracket. I thought you were supposed to but I didn’t like that idea. The first time I had the griddle sitting on the ground, which I didn’t like so the second time I used the shelf but I ordered a small table to put the griddle on so it can sit at a good level for cooking as well as be away from the trailer. I’m not sure why rockwood didn’t give us a way to use the griddle? I didn’t know that there was a gas / 12v fridge option but you’re limited to what the dealer has ordered. I would have preferred the gas option. I was at an electric spot the 1st 2 nights but moved to a non-electric spot the next 2 nights. The batteries were full yesterday morning as I went to pack up and go home. I have two solar panels. About the fridge, I wish the manuals were more clear on how to set up the fridge. There are 5 settings but I don’t understand which setting to use to run the fridge. The alarms screamed at me the first night with the heater running, hopefully it had something to do with using it the first time (1 am in the morning). I’ve ran the heater several times trying different things to see if the alarms would go off again. One other time the alarms went off but I didn’t notice the smoke detector on the ceiling, I was concentrating on watching the light on the alarm panel, it stayed green when the alarm went off during my test. It supposed to have a steady red or flashing lights depending on if it’s detected propane or CO2 so maybe it was the smoke detector going off. The one thing I don’t like is the heavy tongue weight, 860 pounds dry. (With batteries and full propane) as advertised loaded weight, it should only be 580 pounds! This heavy tongue weight doesn’t even include my camping gear which will be limited so I don’t exceed my truck payload weight. I hope the newly order weight distribution hitch helps out. Another thing I will be looking for is a cover for the sofa, the light color of the fabric made me be very careful after cooking over a fire then going in and sitting down on the sofa to eat.

When we were shopping back in 2021, it was between this model and the FE 192rbs. I really liked the perceived better quality of the minilite and the nicer suspension that it has over the FE, but in the end, the full length queen in the 192rbs made us choose that one….I’m 6’3”. I feel like lots of folks are not fans of short queen beds and that rockwood could fix this floor plan with a bit of tweaking the size of the slide. The sofa seems unnecessarily long and the slide unnecessarily deep. Even with the full length bed and the slide in travel position in our 192, we can easily pass by the end corner of the bed nearest the slide for packing, etc.

This is one of the few tandems that my 2022 Frontier can tow, and is on my short list. I would like to see at least one of the wardrobes extended all the way down with the pocket in the back.

I do like those headboard pockets but since Rockwood’s have more of a flat nose it’s tougher for them to do

Your honesty, excellent R.V. tours, and knowledge of the product have solidified my choice of where to purchase our “first” travel trailer-we’re going with the Jayco Feather Micro 199 (bunk house with slide)

Campers are getting better head room I'm 6"5' and I fit comfortably in my roo 233s would be neat if the TV could hinge off of the ceiling to be more inline with the bed

Perfect couple’s floorplan in almost every way👍although a true queen would be awesome, and you just have to get used to the small elbow banging shower that also occasionally gets in the way if you are left handed and trying to brush your teeth😂

Sleeping in mine right now. Towed from CA > TX with a 2019 Colorado ZR2, not the most comfortable and fuel efficient tow, but it got it done.

That's pretty much exactly what I'm going to be looking for once I'm ready for a couples only trailer in ~10 years. I don't like the front windshield.

Campers that are durable and comfortable are priority. Open floor plan is fine but the bed needs to be longer the sink needs to be moved away from the stove so counter space is near cooking, the couch needs to be recliner the bathroom toilet space needs to be bigger but it could work. Family first and I hope your daughter is well.

Like these rock woods! Love how small the rv is and how big the interior is. Huge fan now that they put back the struts. The bedroom is nice. Like all of the storage all over the Rv. Love the bigger oven Wish all rvs had that. I would use the 6 fom toper for the bed. Love Rock wood use the Xl vet fans. Big fan of this brand. Can I get a different outside color. Like a brown? Thank you josh! Get rid of the slackers they are useless.

I always encourage people to purchase according to their peace of mind What I can say is their popups have zero to do with their trailers

My wife LOVES this model of the Mini Lite line. I'm not a fan of how they've crammed up the bathroom and I would lean toward the 2205S with the theater seats. But really, I'm more partial to the 2513S...for which I'm still waiting for a recent video tour!! #nerdherd

@@JoshtheRVNerd Yep, easy and I always prefer to use the electricity I'm paying for at the campsite, so a 20# tank will last us over a years worth of camping. Boondockers will need more for sure, but park campers (Especially with a 'dual fuel' water heater) can stretch propane use out forever.

Pricing on our site is for each individual model Pricing varies by shipping distance to each store, by options applied, and by changes in MFG'ing invoice That's why I leave links to our site. RVs have factors that greatly swing pricing. One price in a video is guaranteed not to be accurate for MOST viewers

Hey Josh, love the review of 2109s. I'm glad they are still making this floor plan. Glad they have upgraded a few of the fit and finishes, minor as they were. As I've said before, we have a 2015 2109s and love it. Overhead cabinet doors swing up with struts on ours, and I like that better. I've had the side-swinging head-knockers before. Love this bathroom over ours, shower especially. Now, my major question...given ours is a 2015 and no ladder. Do you think it's ok to walk on the roof? I've been told both yes and no. I'm not carving this in stone, just asking your opinion. Oh, and I'm the only one getting up there and weigh 145.

The overhead struts are actually coming back!

We had this one in a Flagstaff and loved it except for the sofa. Because of the well wheel … too bad you can’t put recliners on this unless you up a model.
