Very nice to discover your work process in UE Cory. And you're right... sometimes we get lost into too many details. - This is proof that keeping it simple definitely rocks! 🖖🏼💫

In the process of setting up my very first Unreal movie project and this is quite easily the most helpful resource I have come across. Looking at each of the steps in isolation, they might seem simple and obvious. However, by shifting the focus on having to work with whatever material you have, while overcoming real challenges, making decisions fast and keeping your forward momentum going, you actually show people how to make a movie for real. Even if it's just a 'Thing' first time round, it's a 'Something' and not a 'Nothing'... those words are worth a thousand tutorials on their own 😄👏

Thanks for this tutorial. I wanted to use the Golem asset in my graphic novel, but animating him was a pain, so I just used him as a static prop in an alchemist lab. Your tutorial showed me how to animate him in character creator and Iclone, so I live linked it to Unreal and am good to go! He is now doing Kung fu against a character...lol Thanks a ton!

Great video! Thank you for all the tips and tricks, There's just one thing that was a turn-off for me, and was the picture in the picture the whole time, I don't know the reason why creators choose to do that, honestly, I'll like to know why? PIP is always distracting and intrusive over settings and panels, I had no problem because I'm not a new user of UE, but I know is a big deal for others, I appreciate you sharing all what you did in this video, my recommendation is for future videos to not be into the picture at all, why would you do that? What's the purpose?

Ty vm for sharing this. As a pro music eng let me tell u: this video has -18.2dB. A very ez way to check it is to compare with the volume of the windows at the bottom right icon, u click there and that little noise is your reference; so before u render your video u can set this volume. This is just a fast trick but works like heaven.

I understand how everything works, even animating characters -just now how to render an animated video. It confuses me. Do we have to do them one render photo (FPS) or does it animate & render a video? This topic seems to be limited on KZread. I’m so confused. I get you’re animating the character, but- the render. How? 😭

YES 🙏at 18:25 you answered my question. Thank you. At the top of my Agenda today was "Decide if spending $1,400 for the entire reallusion suite" is worth it to create the characters and animate them before bringing them into Unreal for my upcoming short stories or should I repurpose that money for something else.. Being new to CG and animating, I need to remove some of unreals complicated hurdles but have set my mind on using their environments, nanite, lumen, final render etc... .. And time and time again I keep seeing pro's like yourself choosing to not animate in Unreal.. Thank you brother, much appreciated, off to Reallusions site I go!

@@DaydreamStudiosHub Much appreciated., I'm getting a bundle with cc4, iclone, iPhone Live face, hair builder, skin gen, accuface and headshot. All in all it's $2,700 of software but with like three combined coupons I'm getting it for $1,400 lol My short stories are heavily dependent on beautiful women as they are romance stories. So I need the hair, nails, makeup and all the works lol. I've been playing around with the trials for a few weeks now and I'm ready to take the plunge 🪠🚽

I just rewatched your 48-hour film project video and noticed you're using live face directly inside of iclone. Re-illusions marketing made it seem like I needed to buy accuface In order to use the iPhone true depth feature. That's a few hundred bucks. I can shave off the list right there!
