Same. Thrift stores in my country are full of GARBAGE. Id love to take a week holiday to America purely to go thrifting and trying takeaway food. It all looks so fun!

Loved this video and I love that you didn't buy a ton of new stuff! Just looking can be more fun than buying. I feel accomplished when I go to a store and walk out with nothing. It shows we have standards lol. Target, Marshalls etc can feel like junk stores sometimes. At least at thrift stores, yeah you could argue some of it is junk, but at least it's not new wastefully made overpriced junk.

Re: annoying window. Maybe you thought of this, maybe you haven't. But you could always get a privacy film, that whay you can get natural light. Or maybe sheer curtains so that up have the privacy, both from looking out and from people looking in, without losing the light. Or hey! Maybe both? I live downtown where everyone can see into the everyone's place. And those privacy window films were everything

I usually go ALL OUT every year with the spooky decor, but this is our first year with a baby (8 months old atm!) and I just don’t have the energy at the end of the day after keeping a baby alive and working full time 😭 I love your cozy decor idea and I might try to adopt something similar so it doesn’t feel so overwhelming for such a temporary time! Also I’ve had that same skeleton garland @9:44 for years and it’s part of our everyday, year-round spooky decor. I have it draped along our piano 😂

I usually go for fall decor instead of halloween cause I can put it out mid august-end of november

Love the dark academia style, the candle sconce is so beautiful, and the key hook! Bodies do keep changing after having a baby and your lifestyle changes too so do keep that in mind when clearing things out - it sounds like you have a sensible approach to it but I know a lot of us put so much pressure on ourselves if we don’t go back to looking like we did pre birth before our little ones start school. You look fantastic, beautiful, healthy and stylish and Fern seems so happy in the backgrounds of the videos, you’re doing amazingly 🖤

I think I may have gotten the pillows you were looking for 🫣 But yeah with Home Goods you basically either get it when you see it or say goodbye - stuff gets snagged so fast! I almost never see the same things twice unless they have a million of them or they're meh. The cool stuff always goes so fast.

9.54 It's a good thing they have"Faux" on the packet , otherwise so many people might have bought them thinking they were getting genuine human eyeballs.

You should put some super elegant and heavy curtains over that window, that would look cozy. Or, what I would probably do, put a major wood mirror or picture om there. So that it is basically like the tiny framed picture at the bottom, but more promenit. Since some huge things really elevate a space, I feel like that would be nice.

i put on ~25kgs during pregnancy and it took 15 months to fit back in my pants, haha yay! i didn't actively try though, just neighbourhood walks, so it was super gradual.
