Great video! I sold Avon in the 1970s and I was in high school and they suggested I put under my high school graduation picture “does anybody want to look at an Avon brochure?” Lol I love taking my mom to the representatives monthly meetings to see the new products. It was such a great time. I love Avon. I still love it.

I totally agree!
It's baffling how the packaging quality went down and the price went up :P

I know!! So sad
That Pretty Peach pot shaped like a barrel of peaches - I remember I used it as part of the furnishings in the kitchen of my dolls' house!
I so enjoy your videos! My grandmother had all of the Avon products and I would always play in her makeup. She would buy my sister and I these little pins that had cream perfume inside of them. So you would wear the little panda bear, his face popped open and there was a floral scented cologne. It was marketed toward children. Those days were wonderful. It is absolutely not the same today😢

Love those memories of Avon products that come to your door, show wonderful stuffs and creative design . My Grandmothers/ mom / me all enjoyed so much in 60'70' 80' . Remembered tiny lipsticks sample love to get.
Yes! When I was 3 years old in 1969, my mother used Skin So Soft bath oil and she kept plenty of it around.🙂

In Charleston, South Carolina, we used Skin So Soft as a mosquito repellent. It worked for some people, but it was too oily for me.
I just saw cotillion cologne in the Avon book. That was the first perfume I even had in 1966 when I was 12. My Aunt Bonnie gave a bottle to me for my 12th birthday.❤🎉

Oh nice! I’m curious to smell it
My grandma was an Avon lady. I used to go with her sometimes. I loved her sample case, especially the very tiny lipstick samples!
I still think Avon’s lip dew “dew kiss” is the best chapstick of all time. The pretty pink tube with the gold lettering. My great grandmother sold Avon and I used to love going through her big tubs of samples, especially the jewelry.
I just love when you do Avon. I’ve been using Avon since I was little. My mom used to sell it. Years ago. I still use Avon till this day. I even have a rep. I miss those beautiful containers. Wish they would package them nicer, not just black plastic. I do have a few old containers from the past. I look for them when I go to antique shops. I do have the pink cat. Thanks for sharing. ❤️❤️❤️
I was a young girl in the 60s and it was wonderful! I still have a few items that i have saved, bring back the America I remember she once was.I no longer bother with Avon, sadly

Awe I loved that you saved some vintage Avon
I sold Avon for years. I started in the early 70’s. I remember all of the items you showed. I still love to buy it. ❤
Avon look so beautiful back than ❤
I love Avon products 😊
So fun, what a great video! ( my daughter’s middle name is Arianne. Which was a popular 80’s Avon perfume ) Thank you ❤
I always had Avon around growing up in the 80's. Still buy it today with skin so soft and the bubble baths as must haves. Thank you for the video, it is fun to see all of the packaging from the 60's.
Great Video. Wish we still had Avon in Australia 🇦🇺
My mother in law was an Avon Lady for 50 years 💄💋
I remember the Avon Lady visiting my Gram back then when I was little. I loved getting the lipstick samples...I felt so grown-up!
Ihave a plastic cantaloupe with 3-4 cantaloupe soaps. Smell great still. I have a bunch of the perfume pins for kids and a few other things. We loved Avon and it was so cool when the Avon lady came around. I loved the catalogues.
Thank you for your videos my beloved mommy had an outstanding collection and your channel has open the flood gate in a good way! I’m slowly trying to rebuild her collection we have so many wonderful memories and your knowledge and research has given me images and well as it’s names to help me collect her beloved treasures!
My mother bought Avon in the 60's. She bought me a roll on of Hawaiin White Ginger even though I was just a little girl. I loved it and it was my favorite Avon scent besides Moonwind and Timeless which I grew to love later.

Yardley was the best in the 60s !!!
My mom sold Avon in the '60s...I was very young but remember going with her & waiting in the car !! Lol😊
That glorious Unforgettable packaging is by FAR, my absolute favorite in terms of the glamor and elegance evoked by it, as it pertains to Vintage Avon packaging. I am currently deep in the throes of a journey toward buying as much Vintage Avon packaging as I can. I now own numerous beautiful jars and bottles. I even have a California Perfume Co. White Rose scented Powder bottle from the 1930s. I am going to acquire the entire Unforgettable 1960s range in order to display upon my chic little Gold-gilded, cabriol-leg, French table in my bathroom upstairs! I truly wish such elegance was prevalent in modern day packaging. It is such a shame that this is not the case. 😢
I love the vintage packaging on the avon products. It was so pretty. Its s shame the products today have boring packaging

Sweet honesty I remember was my first perfume my mother gifted to me it was in a yorksire dog bottle..then in a cupcake shaped bottle
Thank you very much for Nice video ❤
Loved your video…in the early 70’s my aunt was totally in love with Avon products and had tons. I recognized many of the products, especially the fragrances. I absolutely loved the little lipstick samples!😊
So fun! I am 29 and I remember being in middle school my friend’s aunt was an Avon lady! She had the pink car! Lol. I definitely had a couple of Avon parties trying out the products and getting to order some, I think I am the last generation to get to enjoy Avon that way 🥲

So fun! Definitely I don’t think it’s the same anymore
I just remember my mother's makeup smelling so nice. She had some John Roberts brand? That seems to be maybe the powder? And she used a couple of other brands. Wish I could remember them! That was the era of simple dressing tables where women could do their makeup.
Laura,I love your videos! Such a nice vintage feel to them and your bedroom furniture just adds to it. I love the decor! Can you do a room tour? I love love your room decor, well the ones I can see.
Great video
Omg the avon peach line packaging is KILLING me ♡🍑♡ so darling
Great video Laura, thankyou. Love Avon, especially the Rich Moisture Cream. Hope they return to Australia again one day. Such fond memories of their classic products. 💕
Thanks so much for sharing senting lot of love from the uk❤ tash x
I have vintage Avon products from the 60's, I love all the Avon stuff I have. I do have field flowers perfume. It smells good. I remember more Avon ladies from the 70's, in the 60's I was too young to pay attention.
My mother always got the little lipstick samples. And hrr favorite perfume was topaz!
I bought Avon in the 1970’s. I wasn’t allowed to wear make up but I loved their scented creams, lotions, skin so soft and bubble bath. There was a face moisture lotion that I used, I think the name was something like Dew Drops? It came in a pink bottle. Oil of Olay gave me acne. Loved the fragrance Field of Flowers, Sweet Honesty and hand creams.

Thank you! I love the vintage packaging too
So many of Avon's tried and true products have been discontinued over the years, and i miss many of the products that were made in the U.S. and Canada. The Korean products are very pricey and i feel out of the range of many people these days, just not affordable as it once was. My grandma sold it years ago ,so i was very familiar with many of their products. The grandkids got really nice things for Christmas and other holidays. 😊❤❤❤
Love these videos ❤

Glad you liked it!!
I've had 3 Avon reps who were my close friends. The perfumes always smelt soapy on me! I admit their packaging used to be so eye catching. It was a big benefit having women I knew come to my door rather than strangers in the stores pushing products on me.
Laura Can you please show us how you’re applying your makeup now? I’ve noticed lately it looks the best ever. It reminds me of dewy Marilyn Monroe makeup but not over the top. I just love it.❤
You can still get eye shadow sticks. Try ELF or Colour Pop for more affordable options. For more high end options, i would go with Laura Mercier or Bobbi Brown.
My mom and her friends would buy it😊
I love your trips down memory lane! I was not born yet in the sixties but remember some of these products from my grandmother! I was born in the early seventies so I imagine they are a core memory trying on her products. The cream with what looks like a wishbone on the top in the video looks sooooo familiar! I completely get what you mean about packaging and the colors! I collect the pastel pink and blue items from the sixties. My treasure is a large beehive hairdryer that has the old Sears and Robuck plaque on it. Its that lovely pastel pink! i would love to know where you get some of your vintage finds! I now live in the UK so its even harder to find things but once and again I will find a gem! Love your channel! I still love Avon and I think it escapes the "multilevel marketing" stigma because the representatives do not hound you to be a rep along with the fact they have very good products at a decent price and do loads of charity work. x

I absolutely love your videos! 🙂🩷 May I make a video request please?? I would like to request a video about goody hair brushes/products, and maybe the rise and fall of vintage hair brushes/hair brushing? Like the 100 strokes type brushing and stores used to have so many beautiful hair brushes for purchase in nylon and boar hair etc. Now they are nowhere to be found and brushing unheard of. Please and thank you so much! 🙂♥️
I have an aunt that sold it for a couple decades. We always "shopped" the catalogs 😂 Easy gift lists.

My mother's best friend used the Persian Wood fragrance, and it smelled wonderful. I was allowed to wear Here's My Heart, as it was a light fragrance, nice for young girls. To a Wild Rose was another one I liked. Occur smelled nasty to me. In high school a classmate drenched herself in it, and it made my school life miserable.
Can you do a video on 1990's Avon?
Sold Avon in the 80's
💄✨💅 Laura, there is a C beauty brand called flower 🌺 knows and they have the most beautiful items ever 💖 Flower Knows items, are magical, fairytale and very vintage all in one 💖 And, not only are their items stunning on the out side, but on the inside too! And, even the make up, primer or cleansing balm all look beautiful and work so well! I, am telling you this because I too think that the original Avon was beautiful and something to look forward to, but they are not anymore! They, will never be the same and Avon went back to Animal.testing years ago, and I don't care that they make an excuse why something might be tested! Flower Knows is cruelty free 💖 and most of their items are vegan 💖 And, if an item is not vegan they will specify what items are not! I love 💘💘💘💘 flower 🌺 knows and what they stand for, the love and detail that they put into every single item, they are my very favorite brand ever 💖 Laura, I do love the vintage Avon items and catalogs! Laura, maybe you could do a video about Avon beauty from 1989 when they had officially became cruelty free through the 90s, cause they still had pretty items! My, moms ❤ favorite perfume from Avon was Odyssey! My, mom ❤ was so beautiful in every way ❤ My, very first perfume was Sweet Honestly 💝 My, mom ❤ was older when she had me and was and always will be the best mother ever ❤ I, miss 😿 my, mom 💔 Anyway, Laura many blessings!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have you watched any of MidModMeridian's Avon lady ASMR videos...?
My goodness Brigitte Bardot was pretty.
People spend so much money at sephora and mecca these days...i mean there are perfume bottles in there ove 400 dollars.... i really believe if avon did a smart relaunch with these fancy looks and quality past formulaes ...it would justify a higher pricer point that people are clearly spending elswhere...i would love to see it take over the cosmetic world again...especially now home shopping is a thing ...even if slightly different...someone needs to put there thinking cap ion i tellyou...rescuscitate it with the combination of old world abd new world!!
Back then they used whale oil to parfumes and it is really cruel to whales. Its been forbidden nowadays but parfumes are different.
I’m 60 and love your KZread! I grew up in a rural area and some of my earliest memories are of the Avon lady visiting. So exciting! My mom loved the lipstick and the perfume bottles were so beautiful! Nothing could have been more glamorous! 💕
My mother always got the little lipstick samples. And hrr favorite perfume was topaz!
