What do you think of Sam's Club overall?

I had both memberships for a long time until it didn’t make sense!! Because Sam’s would have different products than Costco!! But the family got smaller and it didn’t make sense anymore!! So it was Sam’s that got dumped!! I LOVE Costco!!

I know this is a Sams vid, _NOT_ a Costco vid, BUT, last week I left Costco, and the receipt-checker-guy on the way out noticed that I'd been _double-charged_ for the spaghetti I bought. He paged a women, who came and took my receipt and after a couple minutes brought back my receipt and a credit-receipt showing that my card had been credited. Two Thumbs Up for that guy, he saved me $11.

Why is the credit card annoying? I love it. Sam’s has the cheapest gas prices near my house and I use it and rack up 5% every time I get gas. Then I can use the points to buy my items in the store.

The Sam's near me never has more than a 15¢ discount or so on gas. You used to be able to get the same discount with no membership. Then they changed it to membership required and sometimes now it is only 3¢ cheaper than the other places, which I get that same discount with a free gas station loyalty program, so what's the point if it is like that. Unless it is a time when they actually have a good discount, I usually just go elsewhere.

Sod that for a joke. By great luck and happenstance, my current husband's "weekend" is Sunday and Monday.

This is no secret, I hate the high pressure sales people that try to sell you services like home repair. They hide in the aisle ways and pop out when you walk by.

Agreed. I love it when they are told "I rent, not own", and their fake smiles come crashing down.

Heaven forbid they offer you a zero-fee credit line with incentives. That’s what you “hate”? Terrible list

It's written by an Artificial Intelligence. What do you expect? AI scans the internet for what people hate about Sam's, then it writes an article based on those internet findings. Even legitimate surveys can be biased. The internet is far, far worse. I hate the pushy salespeople that accost you in the club, hawking home improvement and alternately generated "green" electricity. Not a word from the AI.

Checking the membership card at the entrance is a good thing to get rid of. It is pointless since you can't buy anything without it and you may need to go Customer Service or food court anyway. Happy if they get rid of the double checkout. Having to check out twice really angers me and if there's a long line I just walk out and encourage all to do the same.

Hyping up some customers' annoyances as the norm is not helpful if you want to be a trusted source, Mashed. You should be ashamed.
