Shop Tour of our new East Coast TLC4x4 facility!
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
After years of managing ICON & TLC at the same facility, we realized it would be better to create a new facility dedicated to TLC, and to convert the Ca. facility to 100% ICON. Check it out!

East coast?! Holy $H!¥ Batman!!! Awesome! 😁👍🏼
Just a thought. As a gen 2 Tacoma owner, it would be great to see you guys branch out into Tacoma builds. Applying your skills and quality work in the Tacoma market would be fantastic and a smooth transition from the Cruiser market.

They don't translate to a high-end product like land cruisers. Range rovers and discoveries however..

I think the problem would be they are going to be too expensive, not the same crowd. Would love to see him do 3rd gen 4runners too but doubt it
I hope this new crew will take as much pride or more in maintaining the brand and standards in every build.
Random, but your clothing style is fantastic. I recall watching an older Hoonigan vid and thinking, "Where did he get that jacket? I want it." Years later and your clothing fashion is even better. Also smart getting the expansion out of Cali.
Glad to hear you're out of California. Excited to see what the future has for Icon
Well done Jonaton
Welcome to NC! We're out in the NC mountains. By the way, nice Jacket, Jonathan.
Excited to have your company in NC! It will be worth the trip from Raleigh
congratulations on your new shop. much success ! if i ever win F U $, i am coming.
Stopped in a few months ago. Looking great. I'm excited to see all their builds. Everyone I met while on site was super friendly, and you could just tell they have a passion for the product.
Waited to watch this
Grats, that is a cool shop. Lost track of cool vehicles behind the scenes and parked outside. Insane, thanks for the tour.
Please come to Texas!!! We need you.
Good move my friend!
It would be cool to see Jonathan wards personal collection!!
Looks like a cool setup. Glad to see these builds with how much is changing in the automotive world
Congrats guys and looking forward to what's to come. The new facility reminds me of my garage, a shiny second gen Camaro and a falling apart 80 ;-) Be well!
Congratations
That looks awesome. I look forward to visiting. Time to move Icon out of CA too!!!

I would say there's still too much money there for that!
Mr Ward, I wish you would consider moving both of your businesses to Austin, TX
Welcome to the neighborhood... Maybe I'll bring you a casserole...
I think it's hysterical that you're driving a Bronco to show us the new TLC facility... On another note, you're always stylishly attired and I love your Sport Coat...
Congrats and good luck!
Excellent. Congratulations to you both
Congratulations, it looks like a great partnership!
Absolutely awesome! I’m super close to it now, can’t wait to come visit!
Congratulations on the continued success.... Another channel to watch...
Very beautiful ! 🇧🇷🇧🇷🌷 São Luís do Ma.
outstanding👍!!
As an owner of two 80's, this is great to see. EROD would be nice...
Look forward to this and if you can ship to AUS Even Better
Bolt in e-rod kits! Yes please!!!
I always wanted one of these, but never can afford it always out of my price range. Wish we had a price range I could get to.
I see some Broncos there too.
East coast!!
Great informative video although the sound bed was a bit intrusive at times.
So does Jonathan ward still own 100 percent tlc
Jonathan ...you have Land Rover Discovery 2 and Toyota 4runner 3rd gen...waiting for your touch ...
Getting out of California was a huge plus

Settle down guys. California is beautiful place to live and work. We’re all Land Cruiser enthusiasts and on the same team. Cheers from Los Angeles California USA 🇺🇸.
Congratulations! Although I wouldn't have minded schlepping my 80 out to L.A., good to have the brand that much closer to the Midwest. Looking forward to looking at the bolt-in 80 conversion as well. Best of Luck!
gday from Australia .. what is the reason America doesnt get the 70series ? Toyota sell massive numbers of them here and throughout Asia .. figured you guys would also love them + 78/79 series already V8 turbo diesels so no need to engine swap. cheers 🍻👍
🤠👍
Can you do a diesel build now that it is out of CA?
Where’s that Volvo Sugga you want to build? Remember?

I was wondering if you sold TLC or moved it to NC. Welcome to the home of NASCAR.
Congrats, best move ever, LEAVE CALIFORNIA
Can cruiserheads in the area stop by to visit?
I'm looking for a link here to tlc

This is odd. Jonathan Ward being a perfectionist control freak is what made TLC and Icon. It seems he's not actually running TLC anymore?

That's what it looks like, but he didn't clarify it really well. TLC4x4s rep is what is because of Jonathan and his crew in Los Angeles. This looks like a whole new shop, crew and management. I know I would be hesitant putting the same kind of money towards a build if JW isn't involved anymore or as much.

@@CA11100 I'm an old customer from when Jonathan's kids were in playpens on the showroom floor. There comes a time when you have to hand the ratchet to the next gen. Hopefully the passion will go with it. Plus getting out of CA, good call!

@@msb3175 I agree but this looks like less of a handoff and more of selling the name to another company or something like that. He's retaining little to no of the current team at TLC, he won't be around to look at things (he's still in CA) and doesn't look like they use all the same materials/suppliers. The place its at now was already a restoration business, now they just do cruisers.
Jonathan, is this still your brand and business?

I think the 40 is falling off in demand as the younger generations who now have disposable income aren’t as into them.
Feels like you pretty much sold TLC and you're helping with the transition? All good!
Why did you move to NC? Cheaper operations and less BS CA regulations?
