I’ve been using really high quality g-flex epoxy on my skis. But it’s still gets rubbed off. FYI I haven’t been sanding it down once it dries and I ski with my feet close together. Any suggestions?

In the past, I've used West Sytems Marine epoxy for ski repairs and have not had great results. My guess is that the epoxy used in ski construction doesn't bond well to some high high-grade marine products. In our shops, we often use JB weld 5 minute with good results. It's also important to give the repair area a good prep with a rough and medium grit sandpaper and then a good clean as well. I also like to sand down and take as much hardened epoxy as possible so there is less material to get caught and ripped off.
