Sir im running an automatic suzuki swift 1.2L if I change the pipe diameter slightly bigger than oem, will it change its performance? Is the back pressure thing exist on NA engine and does it exist if I change my system to free flow?

Sir, I hope you answer my question. Does adding silencer in the mid pipes and having a muffler at the back such as offset/center magnaflow muffler affects the power of the vehicle? Especially if you are planning to remap/dyno it since it has more restriction.

Hey Edwin, yes it might. So if the silencer in the mid pipe is restrictive in some way - narrower piping, chambered body or if there are diversions in the path, this results in further backpressure which might decrease power gains. If the silencer/muffler is free flow, you don’t need to worry about it.

rfdfger polfer well because that’s not what the market wants. Everyone that wants an exhaust upgrade, wants louder sound, which chambered mufflers don’t provide

@@erol9770 turbo, manifold, injectors 80k. You will need a bigger exhaust also 30000 And remap 25000

Hey Clarence, it depends. A free flow muffler should improve performance in theory, but unless you have a proper tune for it, you might not see an improvement.
