Why is there a big difference between a 3 inch custom pipe from an exhaust shop compared to branded 3 inch (borla). In theory they are both 3 inch in diameter? Is it due to the bends on the pipe or midpipe or resonator?

Hi, Sid. Good thing you exposed these unscrupulous people and businesses. Do you think that had they used a 3 inch pipe, the power gains would be close to the Borla? How about the make of Notorious Motorsports where the down pipe is 3 inches but the mide to tail is 2.5? Does that make sense? Thanks and more power speedlab.

If it’s the same size as stock which is 2.5 Then it also makes zero power Our Borla is 35k Konti na lang and you get real power

@@speedlabchannel4452 I see, actually for montero, they said 2.5 is the way to go for stock turbo, 3in for stock turbo will result to "sungaw" or more delay in the low rpm range (1.5k to 2.5k) than stock. They only recommend 3in for upgraded turbo. Not sure if what they said is misconception lol

Malamang yang 2.5 inch nang hks na yan ilalagay dun sa kotse na ang stock diameter nang pipe ay either 1.6 dia or anything lower than 2 inch.. yung sa video ang stock nang innova ay 2.5.. so malamang mas freeflow ang 3 inch.. bakit ka mag fufull exhaust nang same diameter nang stock pipe mo?

A shop that has a name of performance, motorsports, as such without making a positive impact to your car, is absolutely shameful! It's good that SpeedLab is exposing these kinds of cutthroat customer milking shops. Unproven as well as they do not have a dyno to back up claims of such performance. Tsk! Tsk! Tsk!
funny lang na kahit siniraan mo na si CRL, Notorious, Drift, etc. mas marami pa din nagpapagawa sa kanila kesa sa Speedlab hahaha and karamihan ng natu-tune ni Speedworks Engineering which is the best tuner in the PH in my opinion, sa mga shops na siniraan mo pa din nagpagawa hahaha

Been to CRL Performance, super bulok ng service nila. Nag downpayment nako 8,500 sakanila pero pag dating sa shop nila di nila maalis ung BOLT ng stock headers ko sobrang nakaka frustrate. Di rin macontact ung owner ng CRL Performance so pina cancel ko nalang and di na ako nag request ng refund dun sa Downpayment ko. Bahala na sila napaka BS ng service. Much better na mag ipon pa konti for a better full exhaust like Speedlab kesa sa mga "MURA" na muffler shop.

Totoo to. Pangit service nila. Pag aantayin ka pa, kasi nung gnagawa ung full exhaust sa shop, wala pa ung headers 3weeks ka pag aantayin. Hindi ka pa rereplayan nung page. Kailangan mo pa magalit para magreply sila. At kung magreply hindi maayos bastos magreply. Tsk
I think it's safe to say that 99% of people who fit custom exhausts aren't doing it for performance gains. They're doing it for volume gains.
