Shop Stool (old video edited)
Ойын-сауық
Building a unique space saving shop stool. I came up with this idea right after I finished building my workbench and wanted to have a comfortable seat when building projects. This seat is not only comfortable, it works on both sides of the bench, looks cool and does not take up any floor space. Follow along as I build this unique shop stool.

Man! All the "Just did this and just did that!" This is an awesome design! And the details make it look like a BOSS! I want that as a show off piece, so I'll be saving up materials for a rainy day. Great video!

I made a stools very much like yours that I used on my boat dock at Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri. We mounted them to the square steel post that supported the roof. Made crappie fishing very comfortable. You did a very nice job. Like the leather seat. JD in Missouri

Great build! The only thing I would have changed would have been mounting it a little lower and drilling holes in the shaft of the seat to allow for hight adjustments with a pin. Great project though! I wish I'd thought of it years ago!

Nice job & a very good vid. You speed things up & don't bore us with a bunch of BS. Just a tip about making the seat post, drill a hole the size of the pivot tube thru the top plate & weld the top rather than welding it to the bottom. That will give you a smooth surface to rotate on the bushing. 👍
Very cool idea you just got another subscriber
