Shooting the beautiful Brimpsfield Park (Shooters Vlogg 58)
Join us as we shoot the beautiful Brimpsfield Park in the Cotswolds courtesy of Ben Hughes from Bruern Game supplies.
It took us a while to get our eye in on this one having come directly from shooting the monsters in Wales, however once we did we smashed it! Great birds turning and twisting helped by some seriously strong gusts and shown over some beautiful topography, matched by a great host and super hospitality. The partridge poppers were something else, KFC look out!

Salut, merci d'avoir regardé et commenté ! Je suis heureux que vous appréciiez les films et que cela vous permette de voir le style de chasse au Royaume-Uni. Espérons qu'un jour nos chemins se croiseront ! salutations
Hello JP Once again, I superb video, on the peg. The most important part isn’t hitting the bird it’s about enjoying the Day, with open minded people. Making the bag is the cherry on top Happy new year to all at TSG looking forward to seeing more content this year

Thank you!
Looked like a very organised shoot with some nice drives, was a bit worried first two drives but you clicked in on the next two. It’s amazing how quick the season has gone by , already booking for next season. Take care and see you on the next video. 🥃

Nice video but that was very dangerous at 20.56

Thanks Kevin for watching, if you actually look closely at 20.56 the gun is already broken as I lower it. Safety is always paramount and something i am regimental on.

Point taken. My criticism was actually aimed at the host.... it is very unwise to stand 10-15 yards in front of a Gun, I have never seen that before. @@theseatedgun2377
JP, we will have off days and today was your day onwards and upwards!!😳🤣

Hi Darrell it certainly was! could not get my eye in on those first two drives.🙄
Great film Jp beautiful looking estate to shoot on .some of those birds were absolutely superb ,have you ever tried shooting Jp from an off-road mobility scooter or do you find it easier from the chair. All the very best to you and your team for Xmas and the new year 👍

Hi Richard thanks for your comment. Its a super place to shoot and Ben the host is just superb! I have shot from a quad and when I'm rough shooting that is something i do as we are constantly moving. But for driven i prefer the chair i can get a better swing through and tend to find it far more comfortable. Thanks for watching!
35gm are too heavy for traditional game!

@@rogerh3642I think I watched Dave Carrie shooting very high pheasant on a lot bigger and heavier but it was very high stuff

Hi Stuart thanks for watching. To be honest i would have been shooting 32/6 however had run out. That said 34/5 on November pheasant is not an issue as long as you select the right birds. I would agree that a 34 gram cartridge is a little heavy on 30 metre birds but bar the first two drives the birds at Brimpsfield are good 45-55 metre birds if you select them! Cartridges are however a personal choice and i think if the heavier load gives the gun the confidence and it ensures a clean kill that is far better than pricking birds. Thanks for commenting it is appreciated!
