    I have been shooting for over 40 years, and this is one of the most informative and accurate instructional videos I have ever seen! Many of the techniques you describe i have learned the hard way over many years! Bravo!! I have been shooting homemade quad sticks for about 5 years now and learned more in 15 minutes than i have hard scrabble in 5 years! Greetings and thank you, from the mountains of Western North Carolina.

    What the.... this guy made me feel going out to practice shooting NOW! Wish he would come over to my place once. I learned more from this video than I did listening to all those wannabes combined. Chapeau! You're one good shooting instructor. I used the Viper once on Deer in Essex and this set of sticks is the best. I own the Deferegger, but I guess with the techniques learned I will enter a new dimension with them. Ride on, Cowboys! Well done, indeed!

    Fantastic video with a great presentation of the 4StableSticks. Sure wish I had these this past fall when my son shot his first caribou. We struggled with tall brush and keeping his rifle balanced on traditional shooting sticks. Next year will be different!

    i'm starting to go on foot, away from my car and use sticks. my best results so far is in seated off bipod sticks or large bipod attached to rifle. next is leaning back on a post or tree standing with bipod sticks. I have been caught out with neither of these options available. I have to try the quad sticks and thatnks for your great, clear instruction. may many a fox drop due to your great lesson.

    I like using standing clays as targets as if the target breaks you have a kill shot it doesn’t matter where it went.

    You are welcome. I pretty much copied those carried by Roy Lupton on the Fieldsports channel but with flat rather than round timbers. Might have to look into these Viper Flex Elite stick that I think sound really good.

    Hey, great video. I'm new to shooting but I wanted to know how truly steady using a tripod was. In watching videos of rifles being shot using tripod support, I wondered how much more accurate shots would be if the rifle stand, therefore so the rifle, was fixed or weighted to the ground to eliminate any raising and/or backward recoil?

  • @bracesshootingcountrysuppl105

    @bracesshootingcountrysuppl105

    Thanks for getting in touch. It is very steady! With all this stuff practice practice practice. I rarely notice backward recoil or raising so never really thought about it. Best regards, Dan2

    @@bracesshootingcountrysuppl105 Thanks for your response Dan. I guess my question was more of a logistic one, rather than one pertaining to the particular product, regardless of the possibility of having access to such a device in the field. So theoretically, would a rifles aim be improved by a a mount that is solidly affixed to the ground or sturdied by heavy weights to partially allow the only recoil that counts, the motion on them axis?

    These 4StableSticks are truly unique when it comes to shooting sticks, with 2 contact points on the ground and the rifle, this is the best product for shooting standing up I've seen in 20 years!

    Some people say to practice off-hand if you're going to shoot off sticks but that's never made sense to me as it is a different skill. Having said that, I do both, with the emphasis on sticks.

    I agree Robert, practice how you shoot! :) I can count the number of times I have had to shoot off hand with sticks on one hand :D for me its far more important to be confident and practice practice practice!

    Great Video.Thank you Guys.Today i practice my shooting skills from my quadstick.I start 3 Rounds at 50m.Spot on.All three Bullettholes on Bullseye.Next 3 Rounds at 100m.All three shots hole on hole but 4cm down.Next 150 m and all three Rounds very close together but 7cm down. When i shoot from a Bench i am at 100 meters 2cm high(for hunting that i will be spot on to about 160m)!Maybe its my triggercontrol,or it is simple the shooting from a quadstick?What do you Guys think?Is it normal that you of from your bench zero?I think if make a mistake on triggercontrol the shots are not so close in a group?!Thank you for a comment!

    HI Marco i wouldn't expect much if any difference between shooting from sticks or from a bench all things being equal. Chances are it would be you or potentially something physical like the forend being pushed up and touching the wood or something similar.

    @@danielpool6706 Maybe it was me?But i think not all shooting from different surfaces are equal.When you shot from hard surface you will be shot high,and weaker surface you shoot down.I have to figure out and have training.But i think thats it was the man on the begining from the video say.You have a different zero when shooting from sticks?!
