On this episode, I take a trip down to Southern Utah with some friends and some boxes of 35mm & 120mm film, for a small and medium format desert excursion extravaganza! We go hiking, exploring old caves, climbing, off roading, and most important of all, taking photos and videos of this beautiful place that I am lucky enough to call home.

Our mini-vacation-turned-week-long-trip started as a great way to get away from the city and isolate ourselves far away from anyone, however, as it tends to happen, once we arrived, we had a hard time leaving. While the weather started out against us on the first night, by the second day, the sun way out and we decided to soak it up for as long as we possibly could!
Since we were car camping, I got to have some fun on this trip in terms of gear. For the first portion of the trip, I shot mostly on the Leica R3 with the 50mm f/2.0. Once I’d had my fill of 35mm, I switched over, shooting the second portion of the trip on the Yashica Mat 124g. The photos shown are shot on a mixture of Portra 400, Portra 100, ColorPro 100, and Ektar 100.
