.50 cals don't actually kick that hard, with the muzzle brake on it kind of pushes you more than anything. The concussion of the shot (because of the muzzle break) is bad for you however, you're not supposed to shoot more than 50 shots in a day or so I've been told. Causes neurological problems, it's like a miniature shell shock. Probably not the greatest thing for a young person in all reality...

The way you handle explaining guns to your boy is nice man. Reminds me a lot of my father growing up! Keep an open mind yer the greatest dad ever!

Do people still not know the difference between a yellow monetization icon and a red one in the Creator's Studio, and still think, "I saw ads, so it's not demonetized." A yellow monetization icon means KZread will still run ads, but the creator gets no revenue. A red monetization icon means that it's completely demonized and there are zero ads run on it. You should know by now that most gun videos are demonetized, and the ones that aren't will soon be. (The revenue a video generates from the time it is published to the time it gets demonetized, which is usually annoy 24 hours and is when about 85% of the revenue is generated, is revoked from the creator. Even if the creator wins an appeal to have the video remonetized, it takes a few days, and all the money that is generated in those first couple of days is lost anyways. But either way, no, he didn't get $5k from this video. Also, there's no way you can figure out how much a creator makes from a video, short of them telling you. There is no magic formula to calculate it, or even estimate the revenue generated from a video. There are dozens of parameters (maybe even hundreds) that go into calculating the CPM rate a video receives. If you go by an average $3 CPM, and there are 2.6M views, he would receive $7800. (2600 "mil". Mil means thousand, like millennium. So there are 2600 thousand in 2.6M.) That's at the top end. So not very much money, considering he very rarely gets 2.6M views. If he gets 50k views on an average video, that's a whopping $150! Whoo hoo.

Great video! Every man that loves his guns has fantasied about cutting down trees with bullets. Honestly had no clue a .50 BMG could penetrate that much tree and still have enough velocity coming out the other side to obliterate someone, simply amazing. Time to talk to the wife about that AR50 at my local gun shop and how we need something to protect the family from bad guys hiding behind trees.

It is amazing how you reload with such enthusiasm. I wouldve been suffering greatly. After a while it became a true mission to see how long Itd take for that tree to come down.

Never really been into guns, but that looked so much fun! I have to visit Texas in the future 😀. Thanks again pal.

After watching them shoot 3 times I thought "they need a magazine", but when it got down to 50 shots..I thought, "okay..manually loading in bullets is way cooler". I can appreciate that we are going back to WWI..its just feels so much better when you are manually loading back in, you feel like a actual sniper.

After your mags are empty they don’t matter any more. The M99 magazine fed version is an extra $1,500! Mags are $160 each. So yeah. This works.

If he used almost 40 rounds of each brand ammunition, the barrett rounds would cost approx. $220, the other ammo would be about $100. Give or take a few bucks for which round he used more, I'd have to go back and rewatch the video for that haha. But yes, he had spent over 500 bucks on ammunition but only put a little over 300 into the tree.
